Same with Dethnote. The anime just doesn't live up to how good of a story it is.
Cowboy Bebop is a rarity among english dubbed anime however. Was excellent and had superb voice actors.

i also liked "Air Gear" anime is good but uncomplete
manga gets a lil rediculous

TENGEN TOPPA GURREN LAGANN! I don't like watching mecha series, but Code Geass is the closest I'm ever getting to mecha.
no dude dont let that stop you it is the best and im not really into mecha either but it is an absolute masterpeice
