They are popping up more and more...maybe players are learning specific spots...most annoying is the "neck" of the mushroom on biomass. Not even flux's kill these things. |

I've only seen this once but I know it does happen, but in my case it was dropping us inside a box that we couldn't get out of. |

They're not invisible, they've just under the surface. You can still destroy these with weapons. |

Thanks for the responses but I am talking about links that wont die...invincible. Like the kind that wouldn't die inside null cannons that were fixed. |

Hi guys,
We are looking into this issue. But we didn't find the place to deploy the invisible drop-uplinks on the mushroom. Could you give some sreenshots of it?
Thanks :)

Well About these uplinks I'm pretty sure that you can flux them.

What I have seen is not invisible...but invincible. They do not die...even with fluxing. The most frustrating is using an attack drop ship...with missiles. These uplinks take 8 missiles sometimes to die if they even do die...in a heated PC I can not spend that much time per uplink. I will encourage my corp to screen shot or view some videos and mark the times.
Thanks for your response and aid. |

What map is this? Skim Junction where objective B would be? That mushroom roof? If I spawn on that map, I'll try and get video. Hopefully the opposing team will help me out a little :/

I know it as biomass city structure...where one side has acid...the other has a cru and supply depot near each other...sometimes "B" is in the building. That building we call the mushroom. The city has the two twin towers...the tower that was infamous for forge sniping In the "neck" of the mushroom. (it has two layers to be on) the problem occurs on the lower level push up against the structure right underneath the top level. |

Hey,
Thanks for the detailed info and the video.
But I still can destroy the uplinks on it. I made a screen shot, is it the correct place as you said? (My cross hair is aiming the 'neck' )

On topic:
I think it might be up on the other ledge up and to the right or left from where you're aiming at, but then again I've only had this happen to me once (probably more apparent in PC matches)

Imagine Breaker has been dropping uplinks for a while all over that place. If you guys have any kind of video/screenshot of the exact location where enemy deployed an uplink and you were not able to destroy it or see it - we would greatly appreciate it :) But we will continue investigating this location together with the level design team.

I know that in Fracture Road there's a building at H7 by Bravo where you can put dozens of drop-uplinks inside the null cannon and they're orbital proof.

Blue tags thanks for the work...it is just to the left and right of your reticule. We had many pc matches were an ADS would pour into them with little effect. Often when laid they appear to be "floating". Right on the neck. When you laid these did any appear to be floating?
In all honesty I have not witnessed for 2 weeks, maybe longer...our PC matches have shifted. I will ask my corpmates if this has been seen recently. Next game I am in this structure I will place there and see if I can replicate.
Once again thanks for you effort in finding the issue. I swear this isn't a goose chase and was a source of madness for our Corp often. |

It would be awesome to have a dedicated bug replicator squad. A group of players that happen to have video capture available that meet at set times once a week/month or as needed together and hunt down some of the issues that are rising in the 'feedback' section of this corp. I realize you won't be able to replicate all the bugs and some of them are going to be pure phenomenon, but things like this seems like a group could tackle in one match and work together to replicate it.

Thank you. See how they kinda float...not sure if the "floating" causes them to be outside the range of the fluxes or the splash of the missiles...but it is when they are thrown on that support "arm". I wasn't on the red team to test if the difficulty of killing the links still exists. |

I've seen this randomly in pubs as well. More common for me though is the top surface letting you and equipment sink in about a foot. That seems to cause uplinks that can only be fluxed, though I haven't tried missiles on these that I know of.
Not new, just new to you.

Hi Guys,
Thanks for the screenshots, they are very helpful.
First of all, the collision on that roof is not good, uplinks are floating. I will report it to Art team to improve that.
When I stand on the roof, not doubt, they can be easily be destroyed.
When I stand on the ground, I used different weapons:
1. With assault rifles, it is hard to kill them. Because the uplink is laying on the roof and foating a bit, you must to hit the edge of the uplinks. It is hard for assualt rifle in this distance and a PRO uplink will have 400 HP. Yes, you must hit the edge 3-4 times.
2. With mass drivers and Forge guns, it is still hard. The direct hit damage can take them down, but it is hard to aim. The splash damage is less than direct hit, and the uplinks are floating a bit, you must make them inside your weapons' explode range. And one shot is not enough to kill them.
3. With flux grenades, it is impossible for me. Because I cannot throw it that far. I may be a bad gamer. I try throw the flux grenade when I am jumping, sprinting and standing on a box, but the explosion cannot reach the uplinks(once very close, but still out of range). Sometime it will be blocked by the invisible collision of the edge of the roof.
4. With sniper rifles, easily. 1 or 2 shots can take it down.
All in all, killing the uplinks on the roof is not easy for the mercs on the ground, bad collision make it worse. |

Hello,
Thanks for the hard work thus far on this issue!
Request: Can you test with an Assault Drop Ship?
Sidenote: If possible, please keep checking various nooks and crannies as we believe that even while walking next to the link while on the mushroom, the flux nades do not seem to get rid the links. I will try and paint a picture with words:
~~Top Mushroom~~
--Mid Mushroom--
___Ground___
Agreed, trying to destroy uplinks located on mid mushroom while on the ground is difficult and understandably so.
Destroying uplinks located on mid mushroom with an Assault Drop Ship with a proto turret appears to be more difficult than it should be, and not because of flying mechanics and lack of aim but rather (in our opinion/theory) this is due to floating uplinks and some sort of glitch/bug.
Lastly, when enemy is on mid mushroom, at times our strategy has been to place uplinks on top mushroom, jump down to mid mushroom and flux/shoot uplinks. However, there are times when we drop down and flux and shoot and the uplinks are not destroyed after placing two or three fluxes well within range of an uplink. Other times and uplink can take two full clips before it is destroyed.
Tank you for your time and understanding. Perhaps all will be fixed when we are able to hack uplinks and nanohives and thus not have to worry about destroying them
