This equals 75 damage per shot agains armour. A comparable RR (Kaal, prof 3, 1x dam) deals 72 damage per shot. Against armour, the currently far more prevalent tanking type, this equals 80 damage per shot. The benefit the ScR has is RoF and the charged shot, as well as the fact that it shreds shields (113 damage per shot). Also, aren't you a scout, or a Minmatar player? You don't even have any armour to speak of. A gun that doesn't overheat is far more effective against, say, bricked heavies, than a ScR is. Forge on for great justice! Defend the meek! Destroy the weak! Q-sync breaches into the rectum of everyone else!

Literally an extra two shots on that thing before overheat and it would be OP. Amarr assault pushes it into that realm, but since it requires a suit combo, I can forgive it as long as the other assaults get good bonuses. (Which is true for only half of them in 1.8) Shield regeneration bonus for Gallente Assault is about as useful as Sharpshooter for Nova Knives. Tuna > Tacos

There was a small period when scrambler rifles were very popular because of hearsay and all the FoTM chasers jumped on the band wagon. Tell me now, what are the FoTM masses wielding currently? Complaining only about the scrambler rifle's TTK is a bit self serving when you consider that virtually all the weapons in game have low to non-existent TTKs; especially at the prototype tier with complex damage mods. Just think about that for a couple seconds. Blatant Dust_514 recruiting in the silliest of places. :P

Fire 15 (21 with Amarr assault lv5) quick shots, and get paralyzed by overheat which often leads to certain death. The number of shots it takes to overheat is only a handful if one was a charge shot; missing a shot (especially a charge shot) is a nail in your coffin.
