There will be no (major) vehicle changes in 1.8. Source Hans on IRC, though he only implied there would be no changes, but since we also haven't heard anything about changes it's true.

There might be some very minor PC changes, but nothing has been confirmed yet. Nullarbor was heading to Shanghai for a few weeks to work on something and would try and get a few PC changes in as well if he could.

Team True Grit was pulled from Dust, so I wouldn't expect the EVE-Dust link expanded in the near future.

1.8 will be about what we know and not really much else. So Sidearms, Dropsuits (and bonuses), Cloak, TTK adjustments and bug fixes. Don't expect anything else.

After Uprisings release the forums were a bad place, I'll never forget how CCP screwed up so badly.

Usually I'd say such patches would only be worth a week but it might just be worth two weeks since CCP seems to be putting plenty of time into it, that is if 1.8 is only some tweeks, new weapons and drop suits. That'd actually be pretty cool and I know other studios which have done similar strategies when approaching a major release. So there are 15 items you say? 1. Amarr Scout 2. Caldari Scout 3. Caldari Sentinel 4. Gallente Sentinel 5. Minmatar Sentinel 6. Caldari Commando 7. Gallente Commando 8. Minmatar Commando 9. Magsec SMG 10. Bolt Pistol 11. Ion Pistol 12. Cloak And I'm not sure what else you were counting but I suppose we could also count miscellaneous additions like 13. Current weapon changes 14. Medium dropsuit changes (bonuses at least) and 15. New Warpoint actions. So then about two weeks before the release give us details on one of these points every day leading to 1.8. Now that's more clear. I wished there was more in 1.8, but I can still wait for the next best thing for DUST. Although, we have been surprised by CCP when they revamped faction warfare.
