FanFest starts on May 1st and will include a playable version of the next update which they are calling a major evolution of Dust. You can call BS if you want, but it's only 8 weeks away.
Last year's FanFest had a playable version of the Uprising expansion and that was released to the public only a week later, so interpret that however you want.

And that's not what I meant. I was saying there might not be that many game changing additions in 1.8 (just a full racial line up, some weapons, and a cloak  ) but that doesn't mean that CCP hasn't been cooking up something big for us.

That'd actually be pretty cool and I know other studios which have done similar strategies when approaching a major release. So there are 15 items you say?
1. Amarr Scout
2. Caldari Scout
3. Caldari Sentinel
4. Gallente Sentinel
5. Minmatar Sentinel
6. Caldari Commando
7. Gallente Commando
8. Minmatar Commando
9. Magsec SMG
10. Bolt Pistol
11. Ion Pistol
12. Cloak
And I'm not sure what else you were counting but I suppose we could also count miscellaneous additions like 13. Current weapon changes 14. Medium dropsuit changes (bonuses at least) and 15. New Warpoint actions. So then about two weeks before the release give us details on one of these points every day leading to 1.8. That would of been fun

[CCP]Saberwing Rouge will be April / May I think So, no Caldari production facility? Delayed... typical CCP.
They got rid of CCP LogicLoop, this was expected.
