My team was losing badly so I thought I could scare off the tanks with an assault dropship. As I fly towards the battlefield looking for rail tanks a cru lands on me.
Anyone else have some bad luck recently?

I tried to do the same except a random null cannon missle on skirmish killed mine.

i had a blaster installation land on me while i was sniping in my proto commando...(dont worry it was ambush and i was 50m from the nearest red)
and....that bites dude....i would lose it if i got killed in my ADS by that

My squad leader was having one of those perfect matches 20 plus kills ,god knows how many war points ,we decided to call in a dropship the lag of the day shifted his position and smash the dropship kills him ,fine and dandy ,as a result of this he got booted back to the merc quarters, no kills or war points.

Running from a tank on my scout alt. Escape the tank just to get crushed by a Supply Depot. It was one of those 'Suck it, Bi-' *dead* moments that are hilarious in movies.
If you get near the 7+ people I'm repping I'll rip your face off.

The most amazing thing happened to me. I was in Ambush (with militia gear, luckily, as I was running low on ISK and dropsuits) and I decided to "smart deploy" as my team was getting destroyed. And the most amazing thing happened. I spawned at an uplink, but not a blue uplink oh no. When I looked down, I saw red. 2 seconds later, 5 guys spawned around me, and they all slowly turned to look at me. And then, god this was just beautiful, they all fired simultaneously. Surprise surprise, a shotgunner got the kill.
And earlier, the beginning of a Skirmish match, I jumped out of the MCC and some idiot had called in a LAV right below. I landed on top of the ship, at first I was like "Oh cool, maybe I can ride it". NOPE! As soon as it started moving, I was launched. Just thrown straight into the air, onto some random hill. It was glorious... and a waste of a very expensive dropsuit.
Does that count as bad luck? Because for me, that's a daily thing. |

Yeah landing on an rdv sucks now. You use to be able to stay on top until it cloaked and easily jump off. Now they kinda just kill you and it's harder to jump off because they juggle you.
