That formula is why the amarr assault bonus is so crazy, you go from ~45 dmg per shot for your last 10 shots to ~ 65dmg per shot for your last 10 or something like that. I'm too tired to math. |

Where are you getting the 0.6 from? I got the number originally from wolfman a long time ago but has it been re-affirmed somewhere?
The reason I'm asking is that the SDE doesn't support the claim of 0.6 anywhere which is really strange. It seems more like the number 50 is being used, as in 50dmg jumps every second or so.
Would be nice to have the the whole issue resolve regarding laser damage.

Mechanically, yes advanced and prototype will get more damage with sustained fire due to being able to fire for longer and you'll be able to stay at a higher damage point for longer. However, when we refer to it getting more damage we would be referring to base damage (or in the case of my earlier post, a better optimal/effective range curve giving it more damage at more ranges)

What if instead of overall Zoom Buff, Zoom increased with each weapon. Like Basic zoom < Adv Zoom < Proto Zoom < Specialist Zoom

Highly unlikely. The whole sharpshooter issue in Chromo pretty much killed this idea, just too necessary to compete. Similar to proficiency now but much worse. |

forge guns = complete laser rifle counter. The problem with using the laser rifle is that you have to stay still while aiming so its good on my part.

I only means you can fire for longer but the max dps should be the same.
