The problem is that a single group of people are completely destroying and ruining an entire game mode for a lot of people. They shouldn't be allowed to just sit there and farm. duna must have a pretty sad life if this is all he does all day every day. |

It's a crappy game. I'm sure the devs are too busy looking for new jobs to care if its players are killing it.

Single group of people??? seriously??? I may have referenced Duna2002 but he is not alone in this A majority of the playerbase are taking advantage of this, or using Alts to do so
If Dust players were not so quick to abuse the game at the first chance We would all see that CCP have done a good job with vehicles ...

Which they need to be to give new tankers a chance to train, there are 3 issues with HAV
- Stacked hardeners fixes - Less effectiveness when stacked, reduced from 40% to 25% each - Remove ability to stack (as with speed mods) - Increase fitting cost, make it so fitting 2 would take majority of your fitting cost
- Vehicle limits (estimate of no.) - 2 HAV 1 ADS 1 DS 3 LAV in Ambush - 3 HAV 1 ADS 1 DS 3 LAV in Domination - 4 HAV 3 DS (2max ADS) 3 LAV in Skirmish
This would go a long way towards balancing battles in Dust And make the Vehicles more important to your team ...

You are also forgetting that if you ban me from game modes you are ruining my enjoyment of a section so the game.

I seem to always come back to one thing. The biggest problem DUST has is a skill system that allows one player to get vastly ahead of another such that fps skills don't matter. There is no changing this, the game is built around it. Why then, with such a fatal flaw looming over everything, don't the devs attempt to fix the little things, when the players generally would enjoy the small tweaks and improvements such that they continued playing, or even recommended it to friends? Their inaction does not make sense.

Rarely can you not contract this, a simple sica or forge fun can usually solve the problem. What would be smart is to get your squad away from the tanks and get a bunch of 2x damage modes sicas. Until 1.8 this should easily own the average tank spammer because rarely are they actually good at tanking. Just wait till 1.8 and militia spammers will be nonexistent which will reduce tank spammers significantly. All you will have left are PC ringers with wallets for it.

Would be nice if they kept CCP Logic Loop in the loop. Our maps were likely not planned to support 6+ tanks per side. |

You go into ambush with it in the back of your mind, that you might face up to 7 tanks, yet you still go in. You complain about it. You want tanks balanced around ambush, and you don't care about FW and PC.
Why should CCP continue to listen to people like you, when it's literally the same story all the time?

Dammit, True.... No-one gets banned from any mode.... The numbers get capped so the vehicles are required to be skilled I have no issue fighting tankers, myself and revolutionkiller actively deploy In 'Duna Hunting' ambushes, the issues is 6/7 HAV's .....
HAV's are not OP it is just the amount is impossible to deal with

Why should a team be able to call in 8 tanks in an ambush? Explain that. You just want tanks to roll over everything and not once did i mention anything about balancing tanks around ambush. It shouldnt even be balanced around PC because a small amount of people play that game mode. Tanks should not be readily available to every single person and be able to go toe to toe with actual tanks. The sheer amount of tanks us stupid and needs to be adjusted. It wont even cause many problems if the amount of tanks that can be deployed was set at 4 if militia ones were removed or the price was increased.
