Also certain map set ups are only used for certain modes, so if you only play a single mode (such as Domination) then you will often be fighting on the same part of a single map, where as the same map in a different game mode can simply feel different due to fighting focusing on different areas. Dust's map structure is set to expand exponentially, so in the early stages, it will feel some what same-y, although as more sockets, terrain types, etc get added, the potential combinations go up exponentially. For example, if a new Caldari large / medium sockets were added, that could be mixed and matched with other Caldari large / medium sockets, you now have -far- more possible combinations than merely adding each item together.

We fought over the same district three times in a row (winning each time and then promptly getting reattacked). It was a different map each time. NONE of those 3 are conducive to my play style. I get open, scantily covered maps as an HMG heavy. Thanks for that, DUST. And the story is similar across my other accounts. I get CQ maps on my Caldari Forge gunner, and open maps for my Gallente AR/shotgun scout. This game is doing everything in its power to make sure I am unable to take advantage of my invested SP (aka: what I FIND FUN).
