Sure! We.can do that!! Oh...wait...we already do..yearly..when all our nations have the all skills competition. Just because I forget, can you please look up..then come back and clarify..which nation wins a majority? We could also look into world history..as to which nation won the war between our 2 nations...and which nations White House(hint) was burned to the ground...twice. Pretty amazing tho, how we are joking about Olympics..and you try to throw "Military Might" into the mix. You have a population of over 360million. We have close to 40million. We support our allies in every major war, from the start. Our military is small in numbers but Collosal in our skill. I've deployed twice to Afghanistan and have fought in a war in support of the USA retaliation for the attacks of Sept 11th. Any American, or any nation for that matter, that has fought along side a Canadian Infanteer will tell you its a blessing we fight along side you, and not against you.
Let's try and keep this on topic of light joking about how Canada crushed the US in hockey ok?

Yes, during that war..which contingent burned it down. Canadian. To say otherwise would be your error. We also took and held the city of Detroit. Was there an extremly large contingent of British troops and natives. Absolutly. Still happened tho! Just like yes...you won your independance from the Brits..BUT..that never would have happened if the French did not side with you. Was their navy that kept British reinforcements from coming.
I love history, and its amazing the different versions are told. Glad were all allies now tho! We kinda need a new war tho, I say we ask the world who wants to buy Justin Bieber...which ever nation buys him...means the like him...we will then wipe them, and him off the map! Haha

So, your only source of information...comes from your own countrys account of history. I can see how they would ignore the fact as to who burnt it down, it would be pretty embarassing to most Americans to realize that at the time, a fledgling nation managed to burn it down. Way to discredit the French btw. And no...your independance would have eventually halted if it wasn't for their help. Their navy kept the British reinforcements from coming, their native allies which took years to gain support from helped to slaughter all the British already landed. Your Statue of Liberty stands as a gift from the French. But oh well. This all started from hockey...and I guess..getting fist beat by Canadians..and then SMASHED by Finland...caused some people to get upset..and then try to boast in other ways. All in all, was an excellent Olympics, good rivalrys.

By that reasoning...it wasn't Americans that defeated the British...it was unloyal/traitorous British living in North America. Correct?
Our nation teachs us a history that is different from what your nation teaches you. The end result...you attempted to invate Canada, got your butts kicked..and in retaliation your country was invaded, and the white house burned. And now many years later...Canadians kick the crap out Americans in the winter Olympics...and the American hockey team goes home with a 4th place Ribbon..because they got smoked by Finland.
