Its a forum post that fell into the abyss that even the forum gods never read. But, Saber did confirm that was the direction they were headed via Tweet when I asked him. xSivartx is my Heavy. Personally I think the AScR or ACR will be the best counter to a Caldari Sentinel as they will be almost immune to explosives (30% shields and 25% suit bonus), 15% resistant to blasters, and 10% resistant to lasers. My bet is Caldari and Gallente Sentinel and Scouts suits.

Thanks for the info but 'strongly considering' Gëá definitely will. So minass+MD is still on my FOTM prediction list, albeit with a reduced probability.

As My self. I'm doing what I enjoy. Edit: I am speced into MD but that was a thing I had to do for PC. I have no intention of speccing into the fotm. I'm a Gallente RP-er that will likely roll with Minmatar gear, considering that two of my favorite weapons are the Combat Rifle and Mass Driver and that the Gallente and Minmatar are allies (Btw, do players get a bonus to racial weapons based on their character's race, or the race of their equipped dropsuit? That's never been clear to me). I just choose to speculate on what it will be. I've played enough MMO's to know that speccing into the FotM is a mistake...because eventually stat weights will change and then it won't be the fotm anymore, and the tears will flow. So I intend to stick with my RP-based SP choices.

Cloaks will be FotM, even if they aren't OP. I would have said scout before CCP announced that you would be unable to fire your weapon while cloaked. Play TF2 it works perfectly. HA!
