So first off; light weapons!
The different types of light weapons we have are:
-Rifles
-Shotguns
-Precision weapons
-Launchers
What we currently have full racial parity of will is rifles, which is good. The remaining weapons that need to be released for full racial parity include:
Amarr:
-Launcher based weapon: "Fist of God", fires a projectile in an arc that lights up on the ground, and then after .75 seconds, the gun fires a large burst skywards, which hits where the laser light on the ground is in an orbital-like manner with about a 5-8 meter radius, dealing very large damage inside the radius. The laser light that marks where the actual strike occurs could stick to vehicles.
-Shotgun: shotgun that fires a laser burst, fires 5 pellets by tapping, but has charge capabilities and overheat mechanic, and at max charge fires 12. each pellet, at proto, does as much as a basic scrambler rifle shot, has an optimal range of 8-10 meters, overheats after one full charge and one tap
Caldari:
-Shotgun: one shot clip, fastish (2-3 seconds) reload speed, requires .25 second charge, and instead of firing a spread it fires a single slug round that deals massive damage (like 1000ish at proto), and has an optimal range of 15ish meters. The reticle would be smaller than the reticle for the breach shotgun, making it a difficult weapon to hit with, and dastrous effects for the operator if the round misses, but huge rewards if the round hits
Minmitar:
-Shotgun: fully automatic, same dps as gallente shotgun (once it gets buffed), slightly more range of about 1-2 meters, but has a larger spread to accompany the increased range
-Precision weapon (precision rifle is currently in the works)
