Are you all seeing this? As a scout I've only ever gotten 30+ kills in one game out nearly a year of playing, and I'm pretty sure it was against a group of autistic blind children. I made an assault fit and went 24 and 0 in just an hour of playing with approx 500k SP that you start with.
If I play as a scout, I'm lucky to go positive. They are so puny that it often does not matter if you get the first shot or catch the enemy off guard unless you are sniping or shotgunning.
Glad this event is going well for Heavies and you can get 20-30 kills consistently. What a great and fair game lol. |

I'm sure he claims to poop rainbows and sparkles too. I have the pleasure of getting lumped into games with some of the best players in DUST. (Usually on the wrong damn side.) They get 10-20 kills a game much more often than they get 30.
Don't believe everything you read on the forums.

I just 2 battles today where this one scout was completely owning everyone with his stealth hit-and-run and shotgun combination. Just because you personally don't do well as a scout does not mean scouts in general suck.
I have seen assaults or logis get 50 kills before, yet I don't see you calling them easy-mode.
This is why anecdotal evidence is not good evidence.

I have a buddy who runs scout. He usually runs shotguns, with a little bit of CR thrown in recently.
GalScout, and these days he runs proto all day erry day just cos he can.
He's got a very positive KD/R, and is pretty high on the killboard.
Was your 24-0 game in the Academy? I go K/D positive in my 'Dragonfly', and I haven't a clue how to play a scout.

752 for myself. But the lag has been awfull this week so i've only played 2-3 matches a nite this week. My IP is having nation wide issues so its not all dust.
