You know, it's great that all this locker room talk and bravado is flying around but the fact that i am definitely dying more than ever and that i don't have enough hp as a scout to turn and run away before falling dead on the floor so fast my shields haven't even reached 0 yet as a heavy spawns at an objective I'm hacking or at an uplink I destroyed 5 seconds ago (and I'm not talking about visually appearing, I mean not even getting a red crosshair where his body finally appears after I destroy the uplink) makes me dislike the heavy class. It's like the easy mode of this game, as the 'heavy hp character with the high damage, high rate of fire weapon' class often often is in any game.
Being a heavy easily requires the least amount of strategy, even less on the heavys' part if some logie is chasing him with their nose up his ass. Seriously, what are the drawbacks of being a heavy? You move slower? Toss on some ComCats, or drive around and hop out the LAV firing your HMG like a scrub. No equipment? Plenty of logies willing to be your personal chauffer. I just have a difficult time respecting anyone blatantly yelling about how great easy mode is. Forgive me.
Is anyone actually having a harder time being a heavy? Does any heavy DISLIKE this event. |

Are you all seeing this? As a scout I've only ever gotten 30+ kills in one game out nearly a year of playing, and I'm pretty sure it was against a group of autistic blind children. I made an assault fit and went 24 and 0 in just an hour of playing with approx 500k SP that you start with.
If I play as a scout, I'm lucky to go positive. They are so puny that it often does not matter if you get the first shot or catch the enemy off guard unless you are sniping or shotgunning.
Glad this event is going well for Heavies and you can get 20-30 kills consistently. What a great and fair game lol. |
