So I've played 10 Ambush Matches today 7 of them were swarming with Vehicles (tanks mostly), & during those 7 matches i thought to myself, how can anyone get Kills when a vehicle going to kill them within 2 - 5 seconds after spawning? & since ambush seems to be only best played on smaller maps, i think it should be an infantry only mode. |

they're reluctant to add a casual mode and academy is very short. one can only guess it has something to do with aurum sales. they hired a new micro transaction guy hopefully he'll figure it out and they'll start adding things like this and he come come up with orthodox transaction methods such as cosmetic sales.. CCP's reluctance to add filtered modes is not good for their buisness as it's common in other FPS to have modes like this that are restricted to certain gear. i know BF4 does it.
u can ban the troll out of the forums but u can't ban the forums out of the troll.

A suggestion heard elsewhere* that I support is making Ambush infantry-only and keeping Ambush OMS the vehicle-spam orgy that it currently is. This would encourage new player retention and overall satisfaction among those tired of being boxed in at every turn by hard-to-kill armor cavalry.
I also agree that CCP is encouraging high equipment consumption and aurum purchases by removing BPOs from the market, making militia tanks ridiculously cheap and lethal, and maintaining various gross asymmetries such as indiscriminate matchmaking that dumps everyone from fresh noob to proto-everything vet into the same battles.
Disclosure: I am an occasional tanker and more frequent pilot, though more often than not you'll find me humping my HMG or forge across our sad handful of maps on foot.
