First, I want to make it very clear this is not an attack. I have a huge amount of respect for Zatara and his abilities to recruit talent, lead them well, and to deal with every day strife that every corp has. Zatara is one of the few true "leaders" in the game and shares company with such greats such as ChicagoCubs, Quick Gloves, Kain Spero, Djinn Kujo, Mavado and a handful of others. The mercenaries in FA are top notch talent and they have proven themselves in battle over and over and over.
With that said lets be fair here about history before trying to judge others. Fatal Absolution was on the verge of being removed from PC just a few months ago. They had taken the losing side of the Prof V war and retribution was close at hand. In order to save themselves (Its the holidays guys!) they locked up and to this very day continue to do so. Again, this is not a attack, it is just a statement of fact. Would FA be around today if they had not taken this action? This action that actually was the event that started the mass locking we have today? We will never know to be honest. Zatara took the necessary action to save his land and save his corp from that potential failscade. I don't blame him but on the same note perhaps we should not judge those whom do whatever is necessary to save themselves in too harsh of a light. We also shouldn't be too preachy. Those in glass houses and all that.
I agree 100% with the sentiment expressed in the OP but on the same note understand why things are the way they are. |
