I just discovered that rapidly bursting automatic weapons makes them more efficient. 
The kick on ACRs, ARs, SMGs, etc. magically disappear...
You see that Heavy 80m away? Forget holding down that trigger. Go crazy and press that button as fast as possible and he'll be dead from your ACR in no time...
You see that Scout 10m in front of you strafing and bunny hopping like a mad man? Forget spraying and praying. Do a 360 and mash that trigger. You'll be fine.
Why did I not realize this sooner?..... |

Yeah, firing in bursts keeps the bullet spread to a minimum. Great to use if you want to get the most accuracy out of those weapons with horrendous recoil. Think RR or AR.

I get more effect correctly judging when to take-a-knee and aim. Hopefully in a solid kill zone.

Lmfao. In all honesty, pre 1.7, the hmg recoil would move you off target during prolong firing. I tend to only fire to about 1/3rd heat buildup, release, let it settle then go full out. By using this tatic, i find that i land more headshots, use less ammo and survive engagments longer. Nothing makes me happier than another heavy going full spool at me.

If you make an alt and spec all your SP into a scrambler pistol, you can practice and make your gun game better.You will learn to make every shot count, conserve ammo, perfect your aim, learn how to strafe and stealth, and picking your fights. A fit I suggest for these exercises is equip 2 scrambler pistols, as many side damage mods, and a light or medium suit. When you go back to your main, you should find that you survive longer and have better aim.
