Seeing how the player base is slowly dwindling due to 1.8 being postponed till mid-late March, I decided to throw up a list of things everyone should do (atleast once) in their mercenary career to keep busy till 1.8 is deployed. These can be the obvious, the inconspicuous or the dang right crazy things to do in our beloved game.
I'll get us started:
1. Learn to pilot a Derpship.
2. Cook a grenade to get a headshot.
3. Shotgun scouting.
4. Scam someone.
5. Earn 1 Million ISK in a public match.

2. Never tried this, I like my Flux to much!
3. I can't hit the broadside of a barn with a shotgun at point blank range!
4. I've scammed someone on my female toon, was hilarious to get isk for just having a female name
5. I can't say i've earned 1m in public. did 4m in PC, and had several high isk matches, but not sure I've done 1m.
12. How about having a slug it out tank to tank battle. Those are fun.
4. Headshot with a sniper rifle from 400m+
68. Countersnipe a good sniper.
435. Snipe from the top of the MCC
12. Drop a vehicle on a blue
669. Redline hacking. I don't see it enough. fun as hell to take an LAV back into the redline and hack their precious resources!

6. See how many AK.0/Boundless heavies you can drop using a STD HMG to the head
7. See how long you can follow a medium or a heavy as a scout, in the long tradition of CS-style trolling (i.e. You're right behind them, opponent starts turning to the right, you quickly shuffle left to stay out of their FOV, keep going until you get bored and plant a knife in their back or they get some situational awareness)
8. See how long you can surf on an enemy tank (I've survived for a solid two minutes between dodging and surfing on an enemy railtank) |

I'll have to practice grenade headshotting. And CS-style trolling. i'm usually spotted by an unseen red with a RR though...

I love doing this, but I do it on footGǪ
Once I ran my Min scout deep in the red to hack a Supply Depot, saw a red appear on my Tac 
They maneuvered around and waited for me to finish hacking and let me run away. Got a message after game saying they were rooting for me to get out of the red line. Unfortunately ! missed it by less than a second.

1) get a head shot with your LAV! (yes, its possible)
69) teabag someone
99) figure who the footprints in your merc quarters belong too
102) get your whole team to put all of their RE's on your LAV and go have a blast
213) get in a dropship and try to get killed by the null canon rocket
350) get two HAVS to make a baby (thats how LAVS are born)
514) figure out how to fly the MCC out into orbit and take over EVE

Some training/trolling exercises:
RDV surfing
Camp in front of redline snipers
Run Pistols on a bricked Heavy (greatly improves aim and reaction)
Entire squad AFK
Invert your Y Axis
Recall 20 vehicles in a match
Scout suit without Weapons, only Uplinks. What's your D/WP ratio?
Hide. How long can you go without being found? (Fun on a RE fit.)
Only Hack, never Attack. (Improves map awareness, finding player tendencies)
Refer to whiny kid on comms as "Ma'am" like a clueless telemarketer.

Run a min scout with basic Flaylock, Proximity mines and Myros. Drop mines and only melee your way to a win.

Get a kill with a breach MD
Use the Laser Rifle as your primary an entire match no matter what.
Get a triple kill with REs
Jihad Jeep.
Get some kills with a Nova knife.
Run a full squad of the FOTM to get that wonderful ragemail.
Shoot a gunner out of a dropship
Shoot a driver out of a LAV
Steal a tank.
Throw a match via suicide in FW.
Team kill a thales in FW.
Coat your LAV in REs, wait for someone to hack it and set them off.
Try to kill it all you want CCP, I still <3 my laser.
