 Uprising is definitely better.

We have problems for sure, but The FPS mechanics are miles better than they were back then

There was some good gun game in Beta.
Uprising has been a year of stepping in cat vomit, barefooted.

Closed beta = more dirty and rugged (which I like), seems like the planets are not terraformed. Prefer the voice too.
Uprising = Clean and a bit sterile, never liked the "new" null cannons, but we have "more" stuff.

I'd like some of closed beta in uprising, but I do think we have a better game as a whole.

Yeah, the planets definitely were NOT terraformed because the environment killed you several times a day....

alot of things have changed for better or for worse

1- explosions looked and sounded alot better in beta, the tiny smoke pops we have now are nothing in comparison.

2- battles sounded more realistic and less void of life, just watching that video made it sound like you were on a battlefield, you don't get that nowadays.

3- I liked the moving mcc's obviously, battles felt more realistic and interesting.

4- speed tanking was still around because auto aim had not yet been implemented.

5- ttk was lower thus more enjoyable.

6- draw distances were longer you could see that even in that video, less model pop-ins

7 - tanks were a skill tool and not the newb tube of dust.

 uprising -

1- looks better( i didn't really mind the old look though ).

2- less bugs and far less crashes

3- armor tanking is somewhat viable, though shield tanking is far from viable.

you need good gun game when half the bullets don't connect.

uprising, I would be astounded if anyone seriously said closed beta was better. the game has improved by leagues since beta. skrim 1.0 was a good mode but that is ALL I can say. the maps were crap, the mechanics weren't nearly as good, hit detection was nonexistent, content was lacking to the point that we were prioritizing it over bug fixes, UTVs, the graphics were subpar. it wasn't good.

Aesthetically, Closed Beta had a lot going for it. The music, the A.I. voice, the break in music when you hear the A.I. voice(that's a subtle touch that makes the battle), the SFX definitely, and even the movement of the characters look more fluent. Although Uprising has it's epicness, I feel that there's not enough "barren" areas. In the future I'd love to fight in the forest just as much as I would like to fight in a gritty-mountain area.

Everything else, Uprising has covered better...Well except the obvious issues at the moment but they should be fixed soon *shrugs.*

I like the music and the kill note of the closed beta vid
Moving MMC's look good as well as the explosions. I think I saw a holographic sphere on the supply depot which looked great.

 Wow! 5 basic RE's

That said I prefer uprising. at least injectors work now along with a lot of other features
