I do this a lot. One time I got 3 kills from it, I guess they were attempting to camp my uplink and a newberry came by and detonated it.

The poor inexperienced sod that is more interested in the possible kills than the transport assist points from being a decent pilot, and ends up exploding for it. lol

Huh, I was wondering why Drop Uplinks often exploded when I destroyed them from a distance. I always thought it was that Aurum Uplink that explodes when the deployer dies or something.
But I must be incredibly lucky, because I do runs on equipment with my Shotgun often, and I've never recieved this surprise.
1.7: Railgun damage goes up, tank HP goes down. How is this okay?

It gotten me once a while back, but unless I'm out of grenades I prefer to toss them at uplinks for the occasional easy spawn in kill.
Most tankers are like sand people. They frighten easily, but will quickly return...and in greater numbers.
