These are MY wishes, but I would love for 1.9 to be the big PvE update. Introduce industry, and more EVE universe related stuff. Theft contracts, where you attack a player's Planetary installations to steal their resources for an EVE player (or dust players, for industry.) Corp battles (as in within corp fighting. Testing squad setups, in-corp events etc.) Content, basically. Adding more flavor.
Also, please let us watch more EVE videos throuh the Neocom. Particularily EVE Origins and perhaps the latest EVE trailer. And maybe the various racial introductions for later.
Helps explaining guests coming over what the EVE universe is about. |

PvE, playable both solo and in a squad. For example, allow EVE players to post contracts to raid installations...we fulfill the contracts, they get raw materials or what have you, and we get paid in ISK and possibly some amount of bonus SP. We ARE mercenaries, after all.
New Game Modes, preferably some small-scale, squad-based tactical PvP as well as large-scale game modes that allow and encourage use of the entire map. |

If people are still getting Sub 10 Frames per Second.. Fatal errors, Hard Freezes, Mic glitches, Massive unbalanced matchmaking, Rubber banding, Server update problems, Hitdetection issues.. Terrible entry point for new players...
Then this patch and content release is just for the people playing DUST right now.. and some that might come back for a few hours then return on what they where playing.
I would call this patch more of an attempt for a tribute to the players still here. But not "Fixing" DUST in anyway that was actually needed. |

A trading system of some sort (doesn't have to be market, just "hey, here's some stuff I'd like to give you!") and the remaining heavy weapons are what I want most after 1.8.

If CCP actually gets 1.8 right with no bugs or issues I will do the Mexican hat dance or continue to buy from CCP rather then following my resolution to drastically cut down my spending habit. |

These would be what most peeps would call 'Core FPS mechanics' along with other important 'feel' features like weapon switching,grenade mechanics, ADS transition, jumping, melee, crouching etc.
So in looking at that list, what is it exactly that CCP has spent the past year focussing on?
We are now back on a longer patch cycle. If 1.8 is a great patch what i want to see in 1.9 is
1) Voice comms working flawlessly, not affecting framerate or lag and with full MAG functionality. 2) Slowdown-under-fire removed(replaced with something appropriate would be ideal, but removed for sure). 3) Web grenades and a hardener-stacking duty cycle nerf(tho this should be in 1.8) 4) Good raw aiming with DS3(no AA) and raw input for KB/M. 4) Aim Assist iteratively and conservatively calibrated based on point 4 above. 5) Customizable controls for DS3 and KB/M. 6) Internal player market. 7) FW match generation and rewards fixed. 8) PC lag fixed. 9) A serious scientific reevaluation of the matchmaker variables. 10) Race infantry lineups finished - pistols, smg's, knives, sniper rifles, launchers, heavy AI weapons, heavy AV weapons.

I honestly thing that people would be fine if CCP implemented player trading instead of new content right now.If anyone has ever played Tera,they do it perfectly without upsetting their market,because it self corrects.I think we are all sick of having items in our inventory that we either find useless,and just don't want,but this is more than likely an obvious ploy from CCP.Give you plenty of stuff that you either don't want or need,and somewhere down the line,you will eventually spec into it and use it anyway.These carrot on a stick tactics seem to be common place with them now,
There's absolutely,without a shadow of a doubt in my mind,that 1.8 will be a complete and utter clusterf**k,therefore,I will have my PS4 by then,playing the new Metal Gear and iNFamous games. |

First and foremost I would love some PvE after that Im actually pumped about the medium ground vehicles... makes me think of APCs I will definitely be interested in both of these in a big way.

We need all racial weapons, equipment,modules, vehicles, vehicle mods and turrets in game. The patch work balancing attempts need to come to an end. CCPs priory needs to be this foundational content IMHO.
