Really blues, come on man!!!
I picked up on how important equipment like this was almost immediately. Where these players are coming from and why they don't get how important uplinks can be is beyond me. As a new player, you should be able to play for a half hour and realize this is an important thing to do. I think people just want to fit one thing and nothing else ever.
This game is more akin to TF2, where you have different niches each suit and weapons fit in. You change your suit to fit the situation you will be facing. I feel people expect it to be like COD where you usually pick your favorite load out and then you run that forever. |

I'm guilty of doing this before I figured out Ambush is a joke anyway. Skir and Dom don't really have much tank spam but Ambush is Tanks 514. |

I hate "casuals" more than assholes. Assholes are stingy for a reason or another. "Casuals," and not actual players who only play for a certain time and/or treat Dust as a casual experience, are the people who don't give a damn about the game but are just dicking around.
They ignore points or don't assist on the battlefield other than killing because they're lazy and believe others will do it. You can't argue with them...They'll just call you a try-hard or whatever and keep doing what they're doing.

Justice Prevails wrote:Understand what your saying , OP. Once you reach a certain level of sp, a merc should have atleast one fitting with uplinks, especially the lonewolves. Don't count on the other guy, take some initiative. Squads might have logi just for that. Can't blame the newer guys though, they have to fit whatever they can to be competitive. Having uplinks may be a luxury they can't afford.
Big problem is this isn't a lone wolf game, its a team objective game. Even when you aren't in a squad, you can still do a whole lot. Place uplinks, defend points, capture points, capture turrets, place hives. Lone wolf implies you are doing nothing but hunting and killing players. This is probably the least effective way to win a game. If you want to just kill people then Dust isn't the game for you. I wonder why the Ambush game type even exists honestly. |
