So then why are the descriptions misleading???!!!!!
Well, I have already decided that I will not spend any more money on this game.
Check my sig for more fun info. I try to bump it every once in awhile. I don't know that the CPM cares about the issue, particularly. Be nice if the CPM could get them to adjust it.
Also, you're not supposed to post/publish your communications with GMs, so you should probably remove that.
Dren and Templar equipment stats, wrong since release.

Every single pack-in BPO, every one, has the stats of standard gear. The only exception is 2 pistols and a swarm launcher. The swarm launcher launches 5 rockets instead of 4 tho, no? I am not sure about the swarm launcher. It would be awesome if it does shoot 5 but I doubt it. I never really paid close attention. I will check later.
The three weapons in questions have STD combat stats (MLT weapons do for the most part actually). But most "combat" stats are the same between STD and MLT items to begin with.
This is why you'd think there was a data entry mistake of some sort to begin with. The fitting stats are MLT, but the reload times on the pistols are the same as STD. Aside from fitting, that's the only difference between the two tiers of pistols to begin with.
The Swarm Launcher is the same deal, it has the "combat stats" of STD Swarm Launcher, but the fitting of a MLT.
The reason the sale of these BPOs was so deceptive is because all the prior releases had been STD items, they didn't publish the stats, and the items in question were specifically things that hadn't been previously released in a non-MLT variant.
If you'd been playing Dust for awhile, you already had an opportunity to buy a MLT Scrambler Pistol BPO, you also probably already had free ones on your starter fits. The Swarm Launcher is another case there... everyone already has a free infinite MLT one on their starter fits...
So, when these bundles were announced, you could see that the most expensive bundle of BPOs ($100) had a few select BPOs that hadn't seen a STD version released. The Caldari Assault, Minmatar Logi, Gallente Scout, Shotgun, and Assault Rifle had ALL already been released in one form or another. The Swarm Launcher and Pistol would be the first STD versions of those weapons released! Because all BPOs released in every merc pack previously would've been of the STD flavor of course.
This is a conflicted decision, because a $100 is a lot of money. It's like you're buying 2 games at full retail to get a few items in Dust. If you'd been grabbing BPOs already, the Swarm and Pistol would be some of the larger draw there as well. So, you drop $100, and you find you just bought to MLT-fitting weapons when you thought you were ponying up for STD. WTF.
Thus began a months long process of trying to get answers from CCP which have varied from "As intended" to "Team Kong is looking into it" to "Standard in the description doesn't mean they're STD". Sort of reducing the sum total of elements in the complaints to an irrelevant single point.
So, yeah. It's obnoxious and people have been complaining about it since May.
