It will help players plan their SP investments as well as bring more clarity to the EP's vision for the future of DUST. We've been going "patch-to-patch" for a while now with no big picture or sense how the promised content is being prioritized. Big items on their to-do list are: - Amarr & Minmatar vehicles/turrets/installations - PC 2.0 - P2P market - Missing heavy weapons - Pilot suits - Revamped NPE We have no idea in what order these are being prioritized. We also need to get Amarr & Minmatar MCCs & RDVs, continue improving lag/core mechanics, fix major gameplay bugs like getting stuck on terrain, and get at least one Minmatar and Amarr map added so the game doesn't feel so incomplete. Not to mention the huge task of building an engaging PvE system, which will take a long time. There's also the big question of when CCP is planning to port to a better platform, what it will be and when the timetable for that is. I'm glad they're waiting to fix the core game before compounding all of their problems by creating a second platform to try to develop concurrently for. I do, however, think it's way past due to begin talking to the community about such things. "Laser focused" doesn't cut it, sorry. Best PvE idea ever!
