"And again, the Internet is not something that you just dump something on. It's not a big truck. It's a series of tubes. And if you don't understand, those tubes can be filled and if they are filled, when you put your message in, it gets in line and it's going to be delayed by anyone that puts into that tube enormous amounts of material, enormous amounts of material."

da GAND wrote:Why should CCP give you guys a respec? Everyone knows you guys are gonna spend all of it in a few minutes after you get it. And you'll be begging for another one around the time the next update brings new vehicles or dropsuits.
This totally reads like a FYGM 1%er rant about the filthy poors and how they shouldn't get any handouts because they'll just spend it on booze. |

Useless for getting any useful information
The debate is over. The anti-respec group has no real argument to stand on.
What you're seeing is an outpouring of frustration from the only people really propping this game up.
ETA: Now, CCP is in an awkward position. If they come out with a respec announcement now, they risk setting a poor precedent, but if they come out and say there is no respec, they risk alienating a swatch of players who, all jokes and threats aside, are really looking for an excuse to leave this game behind. CCP has made this situation for themselves, however, by not being more forthright with their thoughts on an issue very important to their community. |
