I just got out of a queue-synced ambush match, where a corp I will not name brought in 9 of their own corp members, and I assume some of the miscellaneous people from other corps on the team were also squadded with their queue-sync.
Do players in this game really fear a decent fight so badly that they have to ensure that their team is stacked in ambush? A six-player proto/tank squad isn't enough? You can't argue that this is "PC practice", since so many people have made of point of declaring ambush worthless and unrelated to any "real" game mode.
To be clear, I understand that people want to play as a full/mostly-full team with their friends, but when you're guaranteed not to face a similarly organized enemy, it's just a way to pad your K/D and circlejerk over killing randoms. It's pathetic and bad for the game.
Scotty needs to put a stop to this crap because it's killing the game experience for new players. If a team-deploy mode would solve this, great, let's make it happen and pit full teams against full teams, and get these people out of the public contract pool.

What's wrong with wanting a fully organized team instead of 1 squad and a bunch of blue berries shooting each other? And how is it exactly a guaranteed that you won't end up in a queue with people equally organized, it's not like queue synching is this sudden new thing that no one knows about.
It's not even hard to set up a squad for a new player anymore with the squad finder.

The vast majority of Dust players are not queue-syncing at any given moment of time. Okay, it may not be 100% guaranteed that you won't face another queue-sync, but the chances are very, very low.
It's wrong because the matchmaker is balanced around both teams having a squad or two and some idiot blueberries. Like it or not, that is the population of public contracts, and a well-balanced public contract team includes all levels of skill. Hence the term "public contracts". Ambush is such a clusterf--k that by bringing in your organized team, you're basically guaranteeing a win, especially when you combine that with tank spam. It may be fun for you, but for everyone who queued up to just play a normal match, it's not. Take the queue-syncing to FW.
Saying that queue-syncing isn't new is hardly a good defense. Slavery was an American tradition for over 100 years, but that didn't make it right or OK.
Sinboto: When the other team is nearly guaranteed not to have any semblance of teamwork, beyond maybe one six-person squad, yes. Teamwork is OP and should be OP, since this is a team-based game, but what's the fun in pitting your well-oiled team against random scrubs? It just seems sad to me. You know it's not going to be an interesting fight, unless you find spawn-camping people in militia gear interesting. |

First off slavery is a bad example for this on quite a few points, but more importantly the tools for people to find squads exist and after that point it's up to the player to be impatient and queu immediately solo, or spend a couple of minutes forming a squad, whether via local chat or squad finder people have all,the opportunities they need to become organized. It's not my fault if people come unprepared when, the goal of every match is simply to win, which requires working as a team. A balance system around people who have no idea what they're doing is a recipe for disaster, and tank spam is a problem regardless of if a team is organized.

And fw is basically the same as pub matches, and the payouts aren't that good, not enough to justify needing a full team like PC.
First, it's not purely a matter of organization. A queue-synced team can guarantee itself the maximum number of tanks, and generally will be rolling proto. The majority of players are neither tankers nor proto-gear users, so by guaranteeing that you have both in large numbers on your team, you all but guarantee a win, from a statistical standpoint.
Second, team deploy is not in the game- queue syncing is an exploit, and is not explained or referenced anywhere in-game. If the matchmaker doesn't put your squads together, you quit and try again until it happens to put you together. The game is NOT DESIGNED around you bringing a full team in to public contracts. You can't blame new players, or any players, for not bringing that same level of organization and commitment to ensuring they face an anemic opponent. Two full squads from different groups, possibly NPC corps, against two queue-synced full squads, is going to be stomp.
Third, as a console FPS, and especially as a F2P console FPS, this game will ALWAYS have the full gamut of skill levels. To be a successful game, it should be fun for everyone, not just your elite corporate squads. These low-skill players, who may be new to FPS games or video games entirely, should have a place where they can play and have fun. This is the idea behind public contracts, which is why I have such contempt for people who queue-sync it. The worst part is, you KNOW that. You KNOW that the vast majority of public contract players are weaker than your corporate squads, and you queue sync it anyway, because you demand a complete and easy victory.
Again, I'm not saying you shouldn't be able to play as a full team with your corp. Team deploy mode should be a high priority for CCP. Just take it out of public contracts, and especially out of ambush. |

But allways Maphia clan squad lag the game so hard it's impossible to play. I can understand that there are delays between countries but my squad was filled with 4 guys from europe and 2 US. We all gain the same experience... One guy could not be killed by 3 shooting people same time. Few moments after I found him ready to drop Ob. He died after 5th or 6th bullet. He died 4 times. One by me, twice due ob and last one due somebody's granade. All his deaths were because he wasn't on the move or massive area dmg that he couldn't avoid by his lag. I will tell Ya secret. I'm not "griping" about everything that beats me. I said this to you before, and I'll say it again: it's one thing to use teamwork to fight other people using teamwork. It's something else to bring your well-oiled team into a mode where you KNOW the enemy isn't going to be nearly as well-organized as you. Even a well-organized team of randoms, say, two squad-finder squads with full comms, is going to get wrecked by a queue-synced corporate team, in part due to worse gear and the fact that they've never played as a full team together before.
It's like Einstein signing up for Physics 101 and then gloating when he's at the top of the class and calling everyone else worthless idiots.

Did you know CCP is well known for leaving game bugs or exploits in the coding for years? In Eve Online most people had gotten used to the Moon Goo Mining exploit that when one day Devs/GMs blew up some offending POS and banned accounts everyone was surprised.
The Devs are not intentionally condoning the Q-sync exploit. If they were in favor of that then it likely would have been implemented back when we had four-man squads and two game-modes to play. For whatever reasons x-y-z it is part of a larger problem with matchmaking that has confounded them to this day.

Charming.
I didn't make this post just to b*tch, and honestly, I personally enjoy fighting a queue-synced team, it makes my kills more satisfying. I posted because I want this game to thrive and grow, and when this is the sort of thing that new players have deal with after two academy matches, an hour after starting up Dust for the very first time, they quit. I don't want them to quit, but I can't directly convince them to tough it out, so I want the things that make them want to quit to stop. It's that simple.

Lol, yeah I can understand why. If we have a full squad of RND running and we ever encounter them we can shut them down pretty good, especially in Skirmishes. But if you're running solo like I do sometimes, or with just one other guy, you can forget it and prepare for just running milita suits.
