 +1 50% if not more of the markers i spint over to are nothing im just running around with needle for no reason atm.

 A few things I can recall of related to this problem.
 
 First, several deaths I have witnessed lately the rag doll physics throws the dead clone in the wrong direction. Towards the shot from time to time. Whereas in real life* the body would always react to the kinetic energy.
 
 Second, explosives and popping Mercs with tanks will often leave a marker with a nearly vaporized body. Logi chases icon to no avail.
 
 Last one is rare but I have seen it several times the last month. Clone is killed (Red or Blue) and the body disappears through the mesh. This leaves an icon that has nothing to do with the location of the body. If the Logi got close enough to that Merc they would be under the Mesh/Map and dead.
 
 Hope this ... hmmm. Helps isn't right. I hope this clarifies the issue and maybe a Dev might read it.
  
 
 
 * I know real life and Dust514 have nothing in common, but still. Dead bodies should obey physics, rag doll or not.

 CCP still an issue, there seems to be certian ways this occurs, clone bleeds out but marker still there, merc shot while down.Sometime unable to pick up merc due to rag dolling,sliding down hill ( stairs), will cause the phantom marker after they bleed out.

 I don't think a fix is coming anytime soon and maybe not ever for Dust, since this would require a clientside patch.

 I think a good fix (and a general improvement for revive mechanics) for this would be:
 
 
  When you are downed, attach the FPS view to the clone rag doll head... Or perhaps not the head of the clone body since it may lie face down... Maybe put an automatic adjustment of the head of the clone to look up once help is called, or still allow the view and head of the downed player to move with the controller since you're still technically alive. This would enhance realism and make the mechanic polished
 But, MORE IMPORTANTLYattach the revive marker on the actual downed rag doll of the clone. This should have been done in the first place. 
  To fix this mechanic breaking issue of STILL NOT being able to revive someone, even when you are at their clone & marker in the miraculous event that they're both properly in a reasonable proximity to eachother - allow the injector to stab them when you're within 1m or less, no matter how bugged their body may be stuck in a wall or ground. There should be code causes vehicles, players, ragdolls, etc. to be pushed from walls and up from the ground to prevent "wtf falling through the planet or ground", since we all know this indeed happens.

 Have been playing the last week and the issue is still common.Sometimes a merc will still be there but cannot pickup. Tried "O ", switc hing to pen, dancing around to find a mark.This would happen if the merc rag doll effect,slid down a hill /stairs fell from a ledge etc.

 I've come across these ghost notifications many times and it often leads to wasted time, resources and high risk of death. I've also noticed from time to time after I pick up a merc I'll turn around and see the phantom injector notification where they used to be. It's certainly messing up the logi game with broken intel, it's a shame this mechanic is currently unreliable.

 I agree, was playing a bunch of ambush modes and encountered a lot of phantom markers, was able to pickup rag dolled mercs by switching directly to the needle and using R1. I feel it is more efficient to have the rep tool out then hit auto revive but would not work on a number of occasions.
