Some of the maps are too big as they are right now.
TBH, the flow of battle should be more like Manus as far as proximity with objectives on a 16v16 scenario. At least with the maps that have a 3 point central facility it has some focus of the gameplay. The new map (cant remember the name) with all 4 objectives spread out is just painful. You dont have anyone defending a point, you are just trying to get to the next objective faster than the other team.

A player market should be top priority right now,as far as I'm concerned.We don't necessarily need a link to the EVE market,but at least have us trade and sell off out assets amongst ourselves.
Don't know if anyone here has played the MMO Tera,but it's brokerage house works perfectly,and it's something that Dust should blatantly rip off. |

yup I'm not planning on getting the ps4 anytime soon but I'm gonna get destiny for the ps3. As long as there are people online playing with the ps3 I'll stick with it.

Thats why in June I want to play Warframe, Planetside 2, Blacklight and a bit later Deep Down , Destiny, The Witcher 3, Borderlands 3, Fallout 4, and 100 more PS4 games.
I am tired of hearing PROMISES and seeing a full bag of NOTHING as far as results for Dust 514.

On top of market, more players, et cetera, I'd like to see the rest of New Eden opened up for PC. If a corp has Eve support to transport them and can find a planet nobody owns, let 'em take it, or if an Eve corp owns it already, make 'em finally have to hire us to defend/attack it. That was one of the fundamental ideas underlying Dust's development, was it not? Throw a big, fat wrench into PI and make it more substantial? Let us be real mercs and make PC meaningful beyond being a pretty little isk farm for the corps who either got there first and/or are exploiting the mechanics to lock everyone else out.
Also, I still want proper procedurally generated maps. :^( |

I dunno, I think sea turtles would be a good addition. Those little guys have to storm the beaches of Normandy in reverse as soon as their born.
Or maybe they could make it so that, if you run out of dropships and lack the ISK to buy more, you die in real life. That would add some extra strategy for new players to strive towards.

Don't care much for PC because it just seems like a laggy, expensive version of skirmish. But yes they should open up the rest of New Eden however they do need to work on PC mechanics u know with the whole locking down district thing and whatever other problems there are.

By far the most important thing for the long term growth of this game is building a phenomenal NPE. I think the easiest low-hanging fruit is more militia fittings in the academy so players get a sense of the depth/variety available, as well as the option to join a 2nd tier of academy matches up to some threshold (where they can have a decently competive fit for pubs, and not stomp others in the second tier matches. Eventually I would like to see a polished, story-driven tutorial with humor and intense action to immediately engage new players and to "sell" the game's features. This would replace the initial academy.
There are plenty of other important areas to work on too of course. As for PvE, read the tread in my signature for how it could be implemented in an amazing way that would do a lot to bring DUST and EVE together.
Also: CCP better have some models of the Amarr and Minmatar vehicles/turrets, and hopefully a couple more heavy weapons.

Completely agree with the NPE. Back in th chromosome build I had no idea what I was doing until I joined up with a corp.

Mix that in with PC 2.0 and this game could be amazing.. ASLONG as PC is accessible for all motivated competitive Mercenaries it could be the social bridge to keep people engaged and invested into the outcomes.
We then add in the Minmatar and Amarrian Vehicles and Heavy Weapons and we are starting to get a very complete package. ASLONG as the core mechanics continue to be improved upon.

Well it goes from the new player in DUST buying something he/she didn't want and having the ability to engage the market and sell it back.
To the Average casual Dust Mercenary who is selling old overbought items, Running FW to sell rare items, trading officer weapons for ones that work better for their gameplay.
To the Market Lovers who log on to run the market purely and buy sell and trade, make Aurum purchases and sell stuff..
This is where CCP will see Aurum Store really start to be utilized by players, and sales I believe really start to reflect their investment they have put into this game. |
