And exactly what will the enemy be doing while he and the rest of his squad/team have switched to proto AV fits in an attempt to deal with a single tank? That it takes an extremely unlikely confluence of events for AV to actually do its job? If AV requires a 'team effort' it truly is pointless, given a rail tank would achieve similar results with fewer personnel.

Honestly, I only play ambush, but even then I've gotten used to the tank spam. Granted, I'm a coward and if there are 5 tanks roaming on the enemy team I'm not even going to try and engage them. Could try AV, but even if I aggress one tank there's 4 more to easily take me out. Could try a tank, but same issue as the first example. Dont get me wrong, I can still get my tank kills in, but there's a certain futility in struggling against too strong of a current in a match. As they say, pick your battles.
