Domination. We ended up cloning them. Orion took first place and made 980k ISK I took 2nd with around 700k ISK Ivat took 3rd with around 600k ISK
GG Generals! That was a hard fight! This is a good example of how it works. The payout isn't just based on your position on the board, it's based on what percentage your WPs are in comparison to everyone else's in comparison to the WP of the whole team added up. In the above case the three lads combined WPs probable consisted of over 3/5 of total WP, excellent scores by them and well deserved payout, leaving less than 2/5 of the ISK pool to be split between the other 13 players, graded on their WPs %.
If all 16 players got the same amount of WPs each then the payout would be fairly small as the total ISK payout would be evenly split 16 ways.
I was in a game earlier on where my full squad got 5 OBs, with everyone on the squad more than pulling their weight, and plenty of proto FW gear being used by the opposition. I went 42-7 with nearly 2,500 WP and finishing in third, yet only got just over 260,000 ISK in part because the main bulk of the overall ISK was split between the full squad. I would have liked the payout to be a bit more but if everyone is dealing with the same I'll put up with it.
Something that I think is reducing the overall pool of ISK to be split at end of game alot, is that all the FW gear that people are using that is lost, is only being factored for how much ISK it cost to buy, regardless of the fact that its full ISK equivalent is massively more expensive. It's the same issue with Aurum gear, but Aurum gear is less common than FW gear is. |

The best one I had so far was on Spine Crescent. Began in the south, LAVed to Alpha on the bridge, hacked it, got a phone call, drove back to ground spawn to temporary afk but ended up out for the whole game.........................placed 5 with 235,000 isk payout |

I don't know about FW gear but as far as I know AUR gear is added to the pool at market value so I would assume FW is too. Anecdotal evidence confirms this, at least for AUR gear. Not to mention it would be incredibly stupid for CCP to not add the value to the pool. Before you make jokes about CCP doing stupid things I know...but you have to give them a bit of credit as they do tend to get the simple things right, especially when it comes to economics. Now I paid you a compliment CCP so don't you screw me and make me look like an ass. That's news to me but great if it's true. I've been under the impression for the last year and half that Aurum gear was treated like BPOs and just had their ISK value left out of the pot. I may hit up CCP or the CPM to put my mind at ease. Cheers. |

Lol and Yeh, I was about to joke about CCP's occasional off the beaten track(that's the nicest way I can put it) approach. |
