Doubt it. Gall Scout gets cloaking, can tank more EHP proportionately while having better biotic stats, a smaller frame, and the capacity to make use of equipment and light weapons.

It doesn't matter if there's a fotm because there will ALWAYS be a fotm. Anyways, CCP will eventually overcompensate by nerfing it horribly. It's better to just play the way you want to with what you want to. That way you'll be happy, even when it becomes an uphill battle to win.

That's undeniable. But can you argue that its role now is completely different from it's role before Odyssey? It changed completely. It resembles nothing like what it used to except its name and model.
Same thing applies to the infantry changes in DUST. You saying "my stuff is getting nerfed / changed / whatever" is NOT a valid reason for a respec or refund, full or partial. On the other hand, CCP saying "here's some of the basic content we've delayed for so long" could be a good reason for a respec.
I'm against frequent respecs, however. I believe they set a bad precedent in the 'consequences matter' marketing thing that CCP does. Therefore, only a full and final respec should be given when all the racial basic content is released. Partly for that reason, releasing all the basic racial content should be CCP first priority.

I wholly agree with you. I simply would like one final chance one day when core content is released to make the informed choices I feel I should have been able to make.
12 months an not one Amarrian racial HAV variant was even developed to a meaningful level, nor would Wolfman when I caught him in a thread reveal more to me than a very, very cryptic reference to the Amarr HAV being made of platinum, or being that colour.

CCP has already said they will not be giving any respecs unless they change the skill tree. If your lucky you will get a dropsuit command respec. Do what everyone else is doing and save SP. I already have over a million saved up for 1.8.
