Its not true gold. Such is far too malleable and poorly structured to allow the kind of protection and in some cases heat dissipations required to protect the wearer from their own laser based weaponry.
Instead we Amarr use certain kinds of composite metals which allow necessary flexibility but also have a high enough capacity to withstand the heat of our own weapons.

It's tungsten carbide, a flexible and durable material, and it has the signature golden color. Amarr use this material a lot in manufacturing. However, tungsten carbide is only one layer, a spaceship, or a dropsuit, is constructed of many different materials, with tungsten carbide being the external layer that gives Amarr technology its signature golden color.

About this, I've been doing some research into the topic and I think I developed an answer. Between what I learned from the EVE side and what I know from my schooling I think I can state in relative confidence that Scrambler Rifles use solid-state crystals to focus a short pulse of high energy lasers, all powered by an electron 'magazine.'

On the subject of theories, I'd just like to point out something with your Profile Dampener Theory wherein you state that:

That is a very interesting question and there is no Prime Fiction supporting the process that I have to work off of.
I see several ways.
1.) Marriage by choice commonly amongst the lower classes
2.) Marriage from Breeding amongst the prospective Kamiera breeding lines and for those converts who adopt the Faith to breed into the Amarr blood lines.
3.) Political Marriage between sub noble and Noble Families for political gain an stability.

No after the Amarr emerged from their Dark Ages they found they were not the only people on Athra, their home world, another race of people called the Udorians lived near to them. Prior to that time the Amarr had no concept of need for slavery.
However the Udorians drove the Amarr from the main lands to and island called....Amarr, from which the Amarr draw their name, where they formed their first Imperial dynasty.
Eventually the Amarr conquered the Udorians and as such found themselves with and entire racial group and no way to manage them properly...... as such slavery was a necessary social development to allow them control of their planet.
