We believe in a God named Tetrimon, who has charged our people with a divine destiny to unity humanity as one single people so that Mankind will rule over everything beneath the heavens as God intended for us.
However because of the historical precedent of the Amarr slavery was introduced initially as a manner of subjugating threatening racial groups like the Udorans.
However with the total conquest of Athra the Amarr we able to advance significantly both technologically and socials, as such first contact with humans on other planets, like the Ealur, caused massive shifts in Amarrian religious and social significance of slavery.
It then morphed to a means of indoctrination of new racial groups into the Amarrian social structure, basing and aiding in the expansion of the Empire.
More recently after the Great Rebellion and Empreror Heiderans proclaimation outlawing the mistreatment of Amarrian slave the captured slaves underwent a form of social change moving from the harsher methods the Amarr had previously, and unsuccessfully used, into more of a form of indentured servitude and patronage. With each Holder responsible for the spiritual and physical wellbeing of their slaves.
No doubt the sense of Amarrian slavery will shift again, if it already has not, even post Jamyl I emancipating every 9th or 10th generation slave.
It simply is what it is. Necessary both for the Amarr and in a greater sense Humanity as a whole.
The Amarrian religion is monotheistic based on the ideal of One, True God who looks over and guides the peoples of New Eden to an immortal destiny. But the Amarr also believe the darkness of space, where the light of the stars does to shine, has blinded and clouded the vision of the other races. And so they must be brought together and educated in Amarrian values, through service to God and the Empress.
Which with the exception of the Minmatar, but not the Nefantar (or Amatar now) has been incredibly successful.

The Caldari are the ones that broke off from the Gallente. The Gallente just couldn't understand that anyone wouldn't love their "freedom" despite its corruption, so they keep trying to use military force to bring the Caldari back to the "utopia." And the Caldari are corporatists, not fascists. |

From my understanding and it may well be limited. If we were to chose a society from eve to have in the real world it would have to be Caldari. The Caldari society is fair for all even if not what we would call a democracy.
You may think that the Gallente symbolise freedom but this was said about Gallente society,
"There is no better place to be rich than the Gallente Federation but there is no worse place for the poor"
In Caldari scociety everyone prospers. They are highly efficent and they dislike waste of any kind. They are strong and hard-working people like the Minmatar while they still keep themselves ahead of competition through brilliance and innovation.

In Caldari scociety everyone prospers as long as they follow the rules and work for the benefit of their state. If even one single tiny corporation is threatened then the whole might of the state backs them up! They are highly efficient and they dislike waste of any kind. They are strong and hard-working people like the Minmatar while they still keep themselves ahead of competition through brilliance and innovation.
LONG LIVE THE CALDARI STATE!
Amarr Empire - Intolerant religious bigots yet life for true Amarrians is great (At the expense of the slaves and others) The largest empire in terms of size. They too have the largest fleets and military but waste is abundant and innovation is slow in the empire.
Caldari State - Indoctrinated but stick together at all costs as long as you follow orders, very militaristic but will not let a Caldari brother be left behind. The smallest nation by number but the most powerful for their size.
Gallente Federation - Similar to modern day democracy but are a confused people, the rich rise up and the poor get poorer. Only the best if you are one of the privileged.
Minmatar Republic - Once by far the best race, mechanical geniuses. They are the largest race by number. However they are now splintered and are still rebuilding there once great nation after the oppression they received from the Amarr.
You are lacking knowledge if you think that the Amarr are what you say.
Amarrian military power has never been deployed in any significant capacity, not even against the Minmatar or Jove. And currently the hold the largest sway in terms of Naval power.
The Amarr are arrogant, and for good reason, their development as a people has taught them they are the chosen of God, and everything thus far has led them to believe this is still the case. Slaves however are not mistreated, Fair from it as mistreatment is an imperial crime punishable to enslavement itself.
Additionally behind the Gallente they are most ethnically diverse people both in terms of free men and women, and slaves.
E.G- when Jamyl announced the emancipation of all 10th generation slaves, those Holders that refused were hunted down and their families and servants enslaved for defying the will of the Empress.

Do Amarr have sexual double standards? like valuing female virginity, while male virginity is bad or neutral? Can you describe the economic system of the Amarr in detail?

Unsure but very likely they do. I would say the same of the Gallente but their sexual proclivities enter the exotic and bizarre a lot more quickly than the Amarrians do I would imagine.....
Its definitely an interesting aspect worth looking into, since Kador's sotry is developing in a more human and natural way it is I suppose appropriate and almost necessary to consider this plot line for him.
I'm considering having had him engaged at one time, but his declaration for 1 particular Amarrian Heir Household drove a wedge between to two families....such is the nature of love and political posturing within the Empire I would think.

Hell I would think that even Amarrian industry is heavily rooted and tied into Theological representatives, especially certain religious designs and culturally significant aesthetic values. But like most other racial groups business is dealt with in the same manner, trade, bartering, larger multicorporation conglomerates and megacorporations that provide the industrial and financial basis of Imperial trade. Not to mention labour and resources produced through the indentured servitude of Holder's slaves and serfs.

In a very rough manner of speaking yes this is correct. Amarr value the unity of the Faith and concept of Uniform thought but also celebrate individuality and as such while there is a single mainstream established Faith, there are many views on the social and cultural implications of such tenets on Imperial internal and foreign policy...however of course no-one truly opposes the emperor or empress.

Very heavily. The Imperial treasury was not able to bail out the States's economy with a massive investment package as a result of poor business decisions. Sure taxes are levied from all branches of imperial society but the Emperor and Empresses of old have taken large stakes in Imperial trade.
Imperial Shipments I believe is an example of this. I also believe either Carthum or Viziam was founded on Imperial funding, and is only now an separate entity today as a direct result of Imperial intervention.
As for the clergy....the Amarr don't technically have a government in the traditional sense, you might say it is more a court. And yes the Clergy is heavily invested in the Imperial Court.
More importantly what is the relationship between the Throne and Quafe. Quafe even negotiated with the Gallente to sooth tensions after the Claimed a soverign world in which the Gallente claimed was sovereign space.
Why ******* Quafe? Some level of trust there between the Amarr and this corporation?

Yeah my point of view on this might be quiet subjective for I love amarrian technology. But I symphatisied with the slaves before I read T one, after it I cant stand them at all.

Much of it comes from EVElopedia and my contacts within PIE Inc being perhaps the most invested and respected RP corp for the Amarr in EVE. Other aspects are pure speculation based on what I know about the empire, and making logical statements. CCP does not provide great amounts of information about Amarrian social structures, social values, etc so much is speculation.
But if links are available I would love to research them.
However if I am wrong, and sometimes I am, I appreciate others clearing up my mistakes. It does me no good to remain ignorant.

Yeah I'm bored at work atm - don't judge :P
From my perspective it's:
Caldari = Ultra Conservative, strong sense of national identity while trying to give as much money as possible to the elite. Ayn Rand + Rupert Murdoch in space.
Gallente = Liberal, please let us show you how backwards your system is or we will shoot you!
Amarr = US Confederacy classical Southerns/British Colonialism, you lesser races were put on this Earth by God to serve us!
Minmatar = 3rd world identities.

Matari 4: "I haven't seen the sun or my family since the Amarr took me, they treat us like animals..."
Just like the 3rd world countries the Minmatar can't agree on much, other then that they logically hate the Amarr. Hence they are tribal. |

Again nice...but people assume to far that the Amarr wish all races to serve them exclusives, and to a further extent the True Amarr bloodline. This is not the case, as the more the empire expands and draws in newly converted the lesser proportion of control and or positions to power True Amarr families hold. Many Brutor tribesmen serve in the Imperial Navies and are highly respected for it, composing now the 5th largest Free population within the Empire, and when I say free I mean emancipated.

Amarr-dirty, religious zealot human trafficing trash.
Caldari-the stench of unbathed, chronic masturbating obiesity.
Minnmater-the vengence to come. Your descriptions are trash, as player lacking any real knowledge about the lore, you by extension will remain trash until you wise the **** up. Firstly the Amarr value life as it is sacred to them, Secondly the only Amarr you are likely to have ever come into contacts with are the Religious Reclaimers of the militaries. The general Amarrian people are pretty normal and generic people. Thirdly the Gallente are the poorest and most hardline, right wing vision of democracy you could imagine. I would go so far as to name them fascists masquerading as an open society. Right, besides that minmatar is a very rural violent race. They only pack together and interupt their gang and clan wars to fight bigger evil. What most people don't know is that the amarrian empire ens+¦aved the minmatarian race not only fo their own goods. They couldnt se all that animal like behavior and wanted to cultivate that rural race for hgher goods. Withn the empire are also people who are against slavery, they bought slaves to set them free on another planet, with the result that the destructive nature of minmatar came through ahain and people started to rot in gangs again fighting their own race harder and with more cruelness than the amarrian empire ever could imagine. Believe it or not, thats the truth. If you want to learn more read templar one. That will show you the true colours of that "poor slaves"
That pretty much sums up exactly what Southern Politicians were saying in the US leading up to the Civil War when the question of slavery arose. And it's also the justification that the British, Spanish, Belgians, Germans, Americans, Colonial Empires used to justify their usurpation of local tribes in the Americas and Africa.
They are savages and animals! Our use of them as beasts of burden is out of the kindness of our hearts, not selfish exploitation! |

I'm not saying Colonialism is right or wrong, I'm just saying it is what it is. Every Empire in history justifies it's conquests by claiming they improved the lives of the people, while the defeated claim they didn't want these changes.
There is no moral high ground, religion is a justification, not a reality. Especially not in this fake universe obviously lol. |

Everyone follows perspectives base on the personal accounts/factors they perceive through biases regardless. You could never argue however with EVE's general history as it actually serves on what our society in our world may shift.
Anyhow here are my views for each of the four factions rather than race.
The Amarr empire:
Monotheistic religious society in which still strives to seeking the existence of this supreme being, in which they do not know who it may be. Due to the Eve's Gate collapse and being shut off from Earth, in order to perhaps cope with sanity, lets recreate a structural control with society once more as it was back in Mesopotamia, Egyptian, Islamic, Christian and so forth, as well bringing forth retribution to those non believers, lets bring slavery to enlighten them.
Following equally with dominance and conquest like the Roman Empire, owning 40% of the galaxy. It cannot be argued that it was the first to flourish amongst the unknown darkest environment in space, as well as advanced with technology and so forth.
An Ammarrian citizen can be perhaps seen as an ordinary roman or greek citizen.
Rise of Religion control as it was thousand years ago? Monarchism?
The Minmatar Republic:
Tribal, very independent from one another, and likely carry out odd norms in which are hard to be understood and seen as odd or barbaric amongst the eyes of civilized foreigners ( like the Spanish conquistadors with the Aztec's rituals ).
Tribe may be Germanic Viking saxon, African ties, Native, or Celtic.
Tragically enslaved, yet also quick to anger and always thirsting for revenge. Some may see them as seeking justice, others pure acts of terrorism like today's society for retribution.
Anarchy?
The Gallente Federation:
Yes....a diversity of many, unity and strength. Do not be deceived, it is all political movement and power rising purpose at the hands of powerful people. It can be agreeable to compare it as today's USA system with ever struggling, Media control, strong propaganda and so forth.
However, it is welcoming to everyone. This could also be related to today's France's system.
Possibility rise of facism? Police state? or government collapse?
The Caldari State:
Perhaps think of it as to what today's Corporations NAFTA are affecting the world widely and their ever powerful control through finance and system control without government
Also Communism as it was in Russia, the personal is also political, you don't matter as you are amongst the rest and can be counted as the same.
Strong Japanese cultural relations, as well as pride capitalism if communism isn't saw that way. Military government?
These are my views, I can never be right,
