So...am I the only one who thinks of Gallente more like revoloutionary france than the 'States and Caldari as the 'States bordering on facism?

From my understanding and it may well be limited. If we were to chose a society from eve to have in the real world it would have to be Caldari. The Caldari society is fair for all even if not what we would call a democracy.

You may think that the Gallente symbolise freedom but this was said about Gallente society,

"There is no better place to be rich than the Gallente Federation but there is no worse place for the poor"

In Caldari scociety everyone prospers as long as they follow the rules and work for the benefit of their state. If even one single tiny corporation is threatened then the whole might of the state backs them up! They are highly efficient and they dislike waste of any kind. They are strong and hard-working people like the Minmatar while they still keep themselves ahead of competition through brilliance and innovation.

LONG LIVE THE CALDARI STATE!

Amarr Empire - Intolerant religious bigots yet life for true Amarrians is great (At the expense of the slaves and others) The largest empire in terms of size. They too have the largest fleets and military but waste is abundant and innovation is slow in the empire.

Caldari State - Indoctrinated but stick together at all costs as long as you follow orders, very militaristic but will not let a Caldari brother be left behind. The smallest nation by number but the most powerful for their size.

Gallente Federation - Similar to modern day democracy but are a confused people, the rich rise up and the poor get poorer. Only the best if you are one of the privileged.

Minmatar Republic - Once by far the best race, mechanical geniuses. They are the largest race by number. However they are now splintered and are still rebuilding there once great nation after the oppression they received from the Amarr.

However because of the historical precedent of the Amarr slavery was introduced initially as a manner of subjugating threatening racial groups like the Udorans.

However with the total conquest of Athra the Amarr we able to advance significantly both technologically and socials, as such first contact with humans on other planets, like the Ealur, caused massive shifts in Amarrian religious and social significance of slavery.

It then morphed to a means of indoctrination of new racial groups into the Amarrian social structure, basing and aiding in the expansion of the Empire.

More recently after the Great Rebellion and Empreror Heiderans proclaimation outlawing the mistreatment of Amarrian slave the captured slaves underwent a form of social change moving from the harsher methods the Amarr had previously, and unsuccessfully used, into more of a form of indentured servitude and patronage. With each Holder responsible for the spiritual and physical wellbeing of their slaves.

No doubt the sense of Amarrian slavery will shift again, if it already has not, even post Jamyl I emancipating every 9th or 10th generation slave.

It simply is what it is. Necessary both for the Amarr and in a greater sense Humanity as a whole.

Unsure but very likely they do. I would say the same of the Gallente but their sexual proclivities enter the exotic and bizarre a lot more quickly than the Amarrians do I would imagine.....

Your descriptions are trash, as player lacking any real knowledge about the lore, you by extension will remain trash until you wise the **** up.

Firstly the Amarr value life as it is sacred to them, Secondly the only Amarr you are likely to have ever come into contacts with are the Religious Reclaimers of the militaries. The general Amarrian people are pretty normal and generic people. Thirdly the Gallente are the poorest and most hardline, right wing vision of democracy you could imagine.

I would go so far as to name them fascists masquerading as an open society.

Yeah my point of view on this might be quiet subjective for I love amarrian technology. But I symphatisied with the slaves before I read T one, after it I cant stand them at all.

From my perspective it's:

Caldari = Ultra Conservative, strong sense of national identity while trying to give as much money as possible to the elite. Ayn Rand + Rupert Murdoch in space.

Gallente = Liberal, please let us show you how backwards your system is or we will shoot you!

Amarr = US Confederacy classical Southerns/British Colonialism, you lesser races were put on this Earth by God to serve us!

Minmatar = 3rd world identities.

Matari 1: "We want to keep our own culture and governance, we don't want all of you other races high idealism!"

Matari 2: "I like Gallente, they say they want peace for the world

Again nice...but people assume to far that the Amarr wish all races to serve them exclusives, and to a further extent the True Amarr bloodline. This is not the case, as the more the empire expands and draws in newly converted the lesser proportion of control and or positions to power True Amarr families hold. Many Brutor tribesmen serve in the Imperial Navies and are highly respected for it, composing now the 5th largest Free population within the Empire, and when I say free I mean emancipated.
