DUST Search - How do people get hundreds of millions in isk?

(Not impressive stats by anyone's standards but still - it is what it is)

You can't do that now obviously because everybody is advanced but I also was in Synergy and we rarely loss PC battles so I went from 300,000,000 to 500 mil in synergy. Winning PC battles generate a ton of money if you win. Even without farming.
