I've made about 40M from playing (oftentimes most of my suits are in the 20K range), but I did receive 120M from the uprising refund due to LOTS of expensive salvage (dropships, tnaks, etc) back then.
Now days its the <20K suits that makes the ISK (and the 100K+ suits that blow the ISK) |

Not that I haven't spammed the forums enough already; however, I am running a lottery (Dust Challenge Lottery) that is ending tomorrow at 7pm EST. The pot is currently at 406.5 Million ISK. You could always try your luck.
Yes, you can buy tickets; however, it's not necessary with the challenge writing and completion component. Follow the link if you're interested.

While it is true that lots of us recieved a nice handsome amount of isk in exchange for our salvage, that isk went very fast when assault dropships came out let me tell you!
I just ground out 150m isk over the past weeks and months. I sent all of this to my alt for safe keeping.
Now im back to about 4m and will proceed to grind out more isk, bit by bit. I use starter fits a hell of a lot, I also use the militia forge and sometimes militia fit standard logi bros. I keep it super cheap.
It is very possible to grind out 50 mill, 100 mill, 200 mill etc.... My personal goal is 1 billion isk. It sounds a lot but I am making good steady progress. The best thing is , this is all off my own back. No pc battle isk, no PC farm passive income, just grind and more grind.
So ANYONE saying they have no isk, well you do have ways to make isk. You just have to be prepared to take a hit to your KDR. Personally I am not hugely bothered by my KDR but it was around 2. something and now it has dropped to about 1.7 / 1.8 and it will probably fall further.
(Not impressive stats by anyone's standards but still - it is what it is) |

Your more of a sheep than I guessed based on this reply. The accuracy of your statement is so far from the truth. And to set the record straight, at 1% taxes we make just enough isk to cover our programs.

Missed out on that falchion money from the event, I wasn't bothered by not getting the tanks until they got refunded for cash. AARRRGGHH!
I'm still sitting on the 30 mil I got from uprising (it really was crazy how many proto dropships you used to get in salvage.. now all I get is breach shotguns and specialist swarm launchers I'll never use... sigh), it was up to 60 mil, but then FW stopped giving out ISK and I started flying dropships and.... well, now I'm back to using just BPO's for a few weeks. I use the 30 mil as my "zero" point and do my best not to drop below that.
Anyway, for vets we got a bunch of free money, and the really rich get it from farming PC. For new players your only realistic option is to use starter fits and not care about your KDR.

Nephiliel wrote:Just curious. Is this all because of the salvage that was sold at the beginning of Chromosome, or are they really farming it, or is it from eve? I run cheap suits all day, every day. Just from capping out each week I make about 10-15 million ISK Dragonfly scout -0 isk basic shield extender - 900 isk shotgun - 900 isk toxin SMG - 0 isk locus grenade - 900 isk compact nanohive - 900 isk basic profile dampener - 900 isk basic armor repairer - 900 isk
total cost: 5400 isk (cheapest suit)
Most I'll die in a single match is 10 times. Typical ISK payout is 300ISK per match. net 240,000 ISK every match. 50 ambush matches to cap out. 12 million each week. I had around 300 million at the end of April. I had about 600 million when the buy-back happened in May. Currently I have around 200 million. This is because I like to loan out isk with interest, give it to my friends when i'm drunk. pay my squad to run full proto in FW (not corpmates) give them bonus ISK for winning. Put out bounties on people in game and pay them at the end of a match.
Though even when I run proto in pubs... i do it from time to time... I still don't lose ISK. I lose 0-3 suits, usually around 110k each and end up breaking even at worst.
I do make isk from being in a PC corp but most of that ISK just funds my silly little endeavors mentioned above. That and dropships. I go through dropships like candy.

Economize War Points, by:
- Don't run proto (or advanced) suits if it won't make a significant difference - Don't equip stuff that you won't use or won't make a difference (as a scout, does it matter if you die in 0.4 or 0.5 secs?) - Invest in passive skills (don't cost anything and help all your fits) - Invest in proto weapons and damage mods if you rely on alpha damage (shotgun, sniper rifle) - Maximize your characters strong points (speed & stealth for scout, versatility for logi, plates for tank, etc.) - Don't play a role that doesn't fit the current battle (e.g. AV when there's no tanks)
The more War Points, the higher your standing, payout and profit at the end of of the game. |

I'm pretty sure Jim Jones was inspired by the song "Don't fear the Reaper" by Blue Oyster Cult (the irony in the rock group's name!). http://www.history.com/topics/jonestown/videos/jonestown-massacre Don't fear the Reaper -1976 Jonestown Massacre -1978

To be honest even before I got in Fatal Absolution I had +500,000,000 ISK I've played the game quite a lot and in the earlier days I could go in free suits and do absolutely fine. You can't do that now obviously because everybody is advanced but I also was in Synergy and we rarely loss PC battles so I went from 300,000,000 to 500 mil in synergy.
