Queue syncing has no place in public contracts. It breaks the core concept of any matchmaking system and only exacerbates an already awful NPE. Scotty shouldn't be allowing this to happen.
If you want to play with a full corp team, take it elsewhere. |

Are you ready?
That would be just fine. Match full teams against full teams, no problem. It becomes a problem when it's two full squads from one corp against 16 randoms, or 1 full squad + randoms.
@Michael Arck: I'm truly impressed by the constructiveness of your posts, please continue. |

I'm glad I don't visit these forums daily...between threads like this and the upcoming RR nerf, it's been a chore to read some ideas around here. Yeah I hear you Michael. Some of the stupidity I've seen written in here has floored me many a day.
How is it stupidity to call attention to a mechanic exploit that is hurting the game experience of a significant portion of the player base? When was the last time you saw a queue-synced match that wasn't a complete blowout?
All I hear when people defend queue-syncing is "I want to stomp with no chance of losing". |

Michael Arck wrote:Cynicisim isn't the answer for if you want to be competitive in this game, you have to swallow some of your pride and be honest with yourself and the game.
This game has players who come from FPS titles that involved teamwork and strategy. This is not your ordinary, "I've played only Halo, COD and BF" crowd. Not making any implications towards you but it helps that you understand the type of game and playerbase you're dealing with.
You're playing with guys who played MAG, CS:GO, Rainbow 6 and Armored Core...all four games where teamwork, battleplans and smart strategy is a necessity to win or face with shameful defeat.
Of course it sounds repetitive but you need to find friends and other mercs to aid you in battle. These opportunities that you face these organized opponents are moments where you can learn new strategies and you can incorporate it into your own.
That's why I responded in the fashion that I did. Sometimes it just throws me for a loop that some folks don't instantly grab that concept about Dust and resist it. It's one of things that make Dust what it is.
So they stomped you. You have an opportunity to return the favor. Will you just complain? Or will you learn from the situation, thus making you a stronger and smarter merc? I hope for the latter.
I like those parts of Dust- there's a reason I'm playing Dust and not COD. I spent years playing CS 1.6 and Source. For the record, I recently joined a corp (New Eden Blades of the Azure) on my more-coherently-built alt, for precisely the reasons you are describing. I would happily welcome a team deploy mode to better facilitate fun and balanced matches.
However, none of that makes public contract queue-syncing okay. Queue-syncing is significantly different than the glorious teamwork-based game you're describing. Due to the way Dust's matchmaking apparently works, a queue-synced team is practically guaranteed NOT to face any sort of organized resistance. It's ridiculous to be able to create a team-deploy situation when the other team is all but guaranteed to NOT have team-deployed, and that's exactly what's going on when corporations queue-sync public contracts. I don't understand why you're advocating for queue-syncing... wouldn't you rather fight a real opponent?

Q syncing is pc practice, squad an team practice, if you decide to stay that's on YOU not something ccp needs to change for you! So either grow a pair an fight an learn or leave!
How can you seriously simultaneously recommend backing out against a queue-synced team and then say it's OK?! Obviously you're aware of the fact that getting queue-synced against is one of the worst experiences a casual player can have in Dust. What if everyone always backed out? Then you'd have no one to stomp on for "practice".
It is NOT the duty of casual players who just want a casual fun match to be your punching bag so you can train for PC! I shouldn't have to back out of a match because you decided to break the matchmaking system. Take it to FW and stop pretending that the rest of the Dust community exists for the sake of your PlanetaryFarmVille team.

Take it to FW and stop pretending that the rest of the Dust community exists for the sake of your PlanetaryFarmVille team. People like you are why Dust can't seem to retain new players. Man really you sound like a little B!tch right now, seriously you do, if your solo, ya that sucks for you but hey your choice to run solo. If your in a squad your trying to beat the crap out of who ever is on the other side with organized communication. Any time you play you should always go to team chat and you should have a mic that's why it's designed that way and that's why in uprising they made voice chat FREE! Yes I said FREE, it never used to be FREE so cuz of dumb blueberrys that don't want to use a FREE team chat, the guys that sync are A$$HOLES? Look dude this is team an voice com game and the only reason a sync team whoops a$$ is because everyone's IN TEAM CHAT STUPID! If people played it as designed it wouldn't matter but a bunch of lazy idiots don't want to use a FREE TEAM CHAT people shouldnt be able to Q SYNC? Man GTFO GROW A PAIR OR LEAVE
Oh man, where to begin.
1. Don't pretend that using team chat is somehow going to transform a team of blueberries into something that has a fighting chance against your stacked corp squads. That's a blatant lie and we both know it. Many blueberries are in militia gear (less than half the EHP and 70% of the damage of protosuits) , and 99% of them have less game experience, map knowledge, and worse gun game than any member of a PC corp.
2. Don't pretend that 0uter.Heaven is all running scout suits and knives. Also, don't call it "my" RR and Gal Logi, because it isn't.
3. Don't give me that "I paid my dues" crap, the NPE today is not at all the same as it was for you beta vets.
4. I'm not a new player, I have a reasonable amount of SP (10m+), I thoroughly enjoy Dust, and I regularly go positive against stomp squads while wearing STD or ADV gear. So no, I will not be taking my ball or going anywhere.
