more like we choose the best stuff we can, if you want to do well you dont use MLT scouts with no modules trying to melee people do you?
Why do people use proto? Because its the best available to them, its a little something called being competitive, saying we're playing unfair is a huge stretch as everyone uses the same things nyain, its not like we have some inside deal with CCP saying only we can use rail rifles is it?
Thing is with our tanks however, we really only have 6 or so good tankers, poco, addict, milk, kow, me, and ten80.
The rest are doing it for fun, and even our good tankers have too much isk to give any f*cks about calling in tanks whenever and wherever the f*k they want, to the point where even im astounded honestly.

Sort of. I was sure I had a clear line of sight on you initially, then you jumped forwards. I was able to hit you twice before the reppers kicked in....but was foolish to think I could engage you after my hardener went down....which I did. And since you have a proto blaster, with hardeners the rest was history.
But yeah you out played me on that one. I'm not a shield tanker, I do armour tanks as well, just Gunlogi as good sniper fits.

Nyain San reminds me of the guys in MMOs who are Max level, they farm level 1's, then the moment high level people come to fight you run away, you say your competitive, yet you make sure to avoid your own corp mates and you use the best gear you can, in ambush. You make sure its easy basically.

I wasn't in that battle but iv faced them loads. They USED to be competitive and iv faced them in pc. I know exactly what they WAS like and what they are now.

Yeah I'm not sure if I want to put any more of my refunded SP back into HAV. 6 million seems like enough right now to destroy most enemy HAV. I have about another 2-3 in unspent, and if infantry is getting a respect a further 6 million in infantry skills.
Neither of my HAV are optimised fits. Merely what I could afford to make after the 1.7 changes to tanks....and I don't intend to skill any further into HAV until Amarrian HAV are released.

all im really saying is that, if youre skilled (not sp wise) you know you dont need proto gear to do well and make a profit. you can do it in advance. you can do it in standard.
i only run standard suits really because most of the time it does just fine. like pot head said. if you got crazy isk to spare, then you prolly arent going to care much about the isk you get at the end of the match, and if youre capped out... whats the point? is it your useless kdr you care about?
proto stomping is like nuking a country when you couldve sent in a two man seal team... its a bit of a waste and you risk more than youll ever gain.
id rather run standard gear, fight smart and win rather than win knowing the enemy never had a chance to start with |

Its not that NS are the best players ever but you cannot deny they use teamwork to great effect. Catch them off guard or by themselves and they die just like anyone else.
The trick is to segregate them from their buddies. Still dont give NS a hard time, they are not the only tank spamming corp in ambush. Its the go-to tactic for winning ambush.
CCP - can we have an infantry only version of ambush please?
Oh and the other day I got my wish in ambush - infantry only. Except there were 4 people on my side including myself, up against a 6 man proto squad with 4 extras. 4 V 10 = hard game for us :( |

They can't.
They cant brag about their PC wins because they keep all their districts locked, and in the event that one DOES unlock, they just end up losing it to an actual corp of skilled players, then go stomp on the newer corps trying to break into PC. That's really the only reason they have so many districts in PC right now.
Formula for NS success.
1 - Acquire district from noob corp breaking into PC.
2 - Lock district.
3 - Sit on district gaining profit (Until 1.8 when they will most likely be forced out of PC)
4 - Wait until another noob corp acquires a district.
5 - Stomp new noob corp and acquire their district.
6 - See step 2.
7 - Sync up pub games and slaughter new players with 10x less SP/ISK and game experience.
8 - Cry on forums about not having any challenging fights.
9 - Forget to lock a district and have it taken by a corp with skill.
10 - Get yelled at by other directors and CEO for not keeping **** on lock.
11 - Back to step one.
12 - ????????

who are you? I mean who is your main, Lock district?? what are you talking about we have recently started to do it like other corps because we want this BS district locking to stop, BTW a locked district can be attacked, The true district locking is when you have an alt corp attack your districts and no show, that we have started to do and the majority of PC besides PFC are doing this so CCP has to fix it We don't Q Sync pub matches, sometimes we have many squads going at one time so once and awhile 2 twos of Nyain might end up on the same team sometimes they end up on opposing teams |

a few days ago my co gunner markofdeath and my self were just trolling in my scrubby little tripple hardend gunlogi rail tank when we came across 4 of your guys who were spamming mlt tanks with proto turrets and we popped every one of their tanks at least three times and they must have "cough cough" all disconected simultaneously after their last attempt to take a shot at us.. oh how we laughed they must have been pissed that we put there little tank stomp to an abrupt end as we were the only 2 on squad on our side im pretty sire our blues would have had rough tim of it.
But hey thats what all the wolves are all about lookin after the little guy.

Yes the pic wasent needed, as you point out use of it to back up what was stated is innaoropriate without a screen shot from during the game otherwis it is inadmissible as evidence.

If we deploy and are not in our clients match, we all back out and try again. (Maintaining honesty with our client so they can actually see the work we do for them.)
Soon, we will be offering eve side support for our clients as well.
We do not disclose our clients, or their corporations either as what we do operates within New Eden culture, but slightly out of the traditional sense. Anonymity and discretion is paramount.
It has become a very profitable organization with members residing in almost all of the "Top corps" as well as quite a few in the smaller lesser known corporations who are trying to gather funding to break into PC.

Trust me, this is typical of them. Rolled in there with a tank, and wiped all of theirs off the map. Got a few infantry kills with the railgun and they just up and left.
They are all about KDR, and will always aim for an easy match. They don't much like a challenge.

Nope, no thales. I denied a lot of tank drops. Surprised they left, all they used were MLT tanks. Surly they run suits too???
And of course, they jumped out of the tank before dying.

haha I just tanked against kow and co today and he was absolute ****. He hides behind his particle cannon and 2 hardners and he freaks out if you run at him. He lost 3+ proto tanks(dont know the number cuz he always jumped out to save his precious KDr)

i dnt see a reason to use protosuits in a vehicle unless they are sure that that vehicl' destruction is imminent. or it could be an overwhelming false sense of security

Hi, I'm Corrupted Files. This is my main, I'm the CEO of the unregistered mercenary group that we like to call "Simple Solutions".
Ever since FF was turned on in FW, there has been a market for people who REALLY want their faction of choice to win. That's where we come in.
Want to add a little spice to the battle? Want to laugh at the enemy team while they try to figure out what the hell is going on?
Our employees offer a service like no other. For the low low price of 1M per merc (So we can still make a profit, and mitigate all the losses we will incur during battle) we will Que-sync against your faction of choosing, with your squad and team kill our own blues, put remotes on red objectives and detonate when blues are going for the hack, ram ADS out of the sky, and generally grief the other team for the entire match, or until it becomes very clear that there is no way for our team to win. Then we back out and let the game finish (So we don't get booted from FW)
We are an unregistered "Corp" so there are no tags, no way of actually telling who is one of us, or who to look out for (Except myself now that I'm actually making our services known publicly)
All funds are transferred to myself before the match, and dispersed among my members at its conclusion, we currently have a successful 0/58 win loss record in FW (Good news for our clients)
If we deploy and are not in our clients match, we all back out and try again. (Maintaining honesty with our client so they can actually see the work we do for them.)
Soon, we will be offering eve side support for our clients as well.
We do not disclose our clients, or their corporations either as what we do operates within New Eden culture, but slightly out of the traditional sense. Anonymity and discretion is paramount.
It has become a very profitable organization with members residing in almost all of the "Top corps" as well as quite a few in the smaller lesser known corporations who are trying to gather funding to break into PC.

I am aggressive with it though and quickly whip out another tank but I will not get blown up with it, calling in another tank is much quicker (any excuse).

With the exception that FW army does it for free wether they intend to or not. Heck. Having them actually try on the other team still means you have an increased chance of winning.
