This one isn't as colorful as my 1.8 Dropsuit Stats, but it at least shows the changes that are coming in 1.8. Both the new stats and old stats are listed, along with any changes between the two highlighted in either red or green to represent a nerf or buff respectively.
Hopefully this will allow you to give some better feedback on the new stats as the way they're currently presented is much harder to understand, and doesn't compare them to the old stats, or show you what has changed.
For those that would rather just read a TLDR on the specifics that's better than CCPs, here you are:
-All repair tools have reduced range. Max distance at proto is now 15 (the current distance for standard repair tools) -Core Focused went from 175 to 125 -All deployable equipment have lower health (proto equipment used to have 400 hp, now only has 100) -Drop Uplinks are now slower than normal spawns (std/adv/proto at 15/12/11 seconds each) -Advanced and proto nanohives only have 48 clusters instead of 72 -All scanners have much longer cooldowns -Quantum Scanners scan durations went from adv/pro 16/25 to 15/20 -Proximity Scanner is the only equipment in 1.8 to be getting a buff (now has a 10 second visibility instead of 5) -Focused Scanner dB went from 15 to 20
I'm editing the doc right now to add the equipment stats with corresponding logi bonuses right now. Enjoy!

All the equipment in general was pretty good. At least with the right racial bonuses they can be super effective just like now.
No idea on my guns right now. Getting majority to level 3 at least, then deciding.

Yeah, some equipment might actually be a lot better with the bonuses, but we still have to wait for the finalized stats.

Overall, I really like the suit changes, specifically Logi, assault and sentinel.
I do think that logi suits have been abused as Frontline attackers, and the Assault suits have needed some love, and a better role.
I am a little worried however, that with the innate armor rep and hacking nerf, with only a repair tool bonus in it's place, the Minmatar Logi suit is left even more vulnerable, and with drastically less versatility. (usually a Minmatar staple)
I get it, I ran an assault/logi hybrid before, now I gotta adapt- but these changes force a drastic shift in the Min Logi playstyle.
I could deal with the changes with Caldari, Gallente, or Amarr suits, (Ironically, I ran drop uplink/hive/scanner on my minmatar logi suits lol) -But this requires me to shelf the Minnie suits for dedicated squad roles, and look to a different suit/race for my regular playstyle.
To be clear, I don't think we need respecs. I just want the stats to work when patches are released, and I'm worried about the options for mah suit!! |

On topic: Thanks for the table and summary, this is a nice resource.
Rant: While some of these changes make sense (scanner nerf finally!), the core concept of nerfing all equipment, then returning it to its previous level of effectiveness only for specific logi suits, is really a kick in the teeth for equipment-oriented logis everywhere. The choice between good uplinks, good nanohives, good scanners or good reps shouldn't be dictated by suit, because it forces so many other factors, like slot layout and speed. In 1.8, you can't both be good at repping and have a sidearm, you can't both be fast and have good uplinks, etc, and that to me flies in the face of Dust's philosophy of fitting freedom. |

Yeah i wont be a field medic with those stats a paper thin suit for repping nahh gonna go back into tanking so i can save my team clones that way missile style although tanking is itself unversitile with everyone running the same crap slowly freedom of fitting is being strip while the promblems remain feel like im readying myself for new things like sitting in my merc quarters for 4 yyrs.

Yup. And the other slayer logi gets a bonus to scanners.
Combine that with the restrictive assault bonuses, and logis will remain the the objectively better choice for an assault player.

i have been playing less and less logi over the past month because off all these changes. been trying to find another role i could fill that i might enjoy as much as being a support logi but there is not a lot of choice. closest i have got is the heavy but even that isn't as much fun as the logi. with the new suggested changes my support logi as i see it is dead

I don't know what you guys are all down about. Yeah sure there's a lot of changes going on but overall I'm actually getting a huge buff to my minmatar logistics. Being able to fit much better stuff, AND getting a bonus to my repair tool (even if it's not my core focused).
Just means I'll be able to logi more and make better fittings.

Try scouting! That's what I picked. Dying a lot as an equipment logi prepares you well for dying a lot (at first) as a scout. |

I think people who enjoy being support will continue to do so. I do agree that this looks a bit grim right now.
Lowering the CPU/PG to fit better equipment sounds good but if it just means we need to fit better equipment to be as effective as we were pre 1.8 the only thing that will do is raise the price of advanced or higher logi fittings.
In the other direction it could mean fitting the same equipment we do now, only having spare CPU/PG to fit better weapons/modules.
And less effective hives/uplinks just means players will spam them even more.

Kind of interesting that the amarr uplink bonus makes the ADV Flux uplinks quite good (considering the overall equipment HP nerf, and the volatility of equipment in 1.8)! This means that you may carry higher tiers of other equipment as an amarr logi.
Maybe this is what CCP had in mind when they designed the bonuses?

They should have made 4 versions of the logi suit and given it it's own tier.
You can't have a squad be one race now and remain effective.
Min logi 1 best repair rate, and then three others for the other equipments but not as effective as the race that specializes in it. So a min suit with a uplink or scanner bonus but an amarr uplink or galente scanner logi will out perform while you can still remain versatile within your race. Copy that ove so caldari are always best with nanohives and triage, but other races can still get a triage bonus albeit less effective than the triage kings, etc, etc.

I'd like to think so. That way other classes can at least skill into them and make them more effective.
Otherwise what would be the point of placing a stable uplink with 10x 15s spawns for my cloaked scout?
