I'm getting sick of ppl using heavy suits for everything in general. Was it any surprise this cheap exploit would happen?

I'm very sick of this also. All of these pathetic fatsuit scrubs running around using RRs is pathetic. They can't fight in a medium suit at all and apparently have very poor aim or tactics so they have to compensate by tanking extra hp. One of the things I hate most at the moment.

i did it all the time with a basic railgun methana and a medium suit.
second the match starts drive straight to the enemy homepoint where the neutral cru is and drive around with a railgun turret like a shark around the socket and hilarity ensues. |

The heavy suit wouldn't be necessary if CCP would put a damn ballistic shield on the damn LAV so the gunner would at least have some kind of protection.
So using the turret on a LAV is a no skill coward tactic? What's next walking while shooting?
So what happens when somebody is driving an LAV and pulls up with a gunner that blows your guts open? Is the driver the no skill coward, or the gunner?

I do drive by kills with my LAV and HMG and the only ones B***** about this is the ones that have been victims. Guess what I am going to keep doing this even if they take away the LAV, I will use an HAV, and if that gets taken away I will use a DS. So what does that mean, get the F*** off my battlefield or out of my way. If you think using an HAV will stop me, it will not. I will strap my LAV with RE's and ram it down your throat. My cost of killing your tank is 0 ISK, that's right I have nothing to lose.

I mean it sounds pretty effective, decent mobility high grade survivability and decent damage out put, and super vulnerable to tanks.
seems decent.
they also have all the standard tank draw backs, i.e limited usefulness based on maps and likely you won't be hacking often. |

Yeah I get killed by heavy drive bys of all sorts, but they are actually fairly rare. If they were more common I would use the easy counter....advanced AV grenade the LAV before the bastard can get out of it.
Most tankers are like sand people. They frighten easily, but will quickly return...and in greater numbers.
