I'm starting to get the impression that alot of the Non Caldari are trying to force a useless Reload bonus onto the Caldari Assault suit to make sure the RR dies a very painful death in 1.8
Look people we already know the RR is going to be nerfed into the ground (CCP have a horrible track record of 'balance' just look at Tanks and AV in 1.7) so stop trying to ruin the Caldari Assault suit as well !!!
I've seen silly reload bonuses, ammo capacity bonuses and the reason No Caldari is happy with either of them being a factor in the Assault bonus is because out of experience of playing with the suits and weapons .. they really aren't needed or wanted and seeing as very few people skill into those skills on the weapons themselves surely that'd be a big enough hint that really Ammo and Reload is just an afterthought when you have more SP than sense
So please stop trying to force useless bonuses on our suits .. now that you've got the bonuses you wanted let us get a bonus that we want

Being able to put out 25% more DPS before overheating is huge
Larger Clip sizes on Minmatar Weapons isn't an OP bonus ??
Being able to put out more damage before reloading eg a few extra Mass Driver/Flaylock shots, a 25% larger clip size on the CR and SMG is also huge
Regulator bonus would be good if Regulators weren't so UP and for that bonus to really be useful then Regulators themselves need to be buffed
Frankly your opinion means nothing because it wont be a bonus that affects you so why are you chipping in with your 2 cents ?? How exactly do you know what would be 'beneficial' on a suit that you don't even use ??? Maybe I should start proposing different Sentinel Bonuses seeing as I have very little experience with them ..
Anything that is along the lines of the Minmatar and Amarrian bonuses like 2% ROF per level bonus or effective range increased is instantly quashed and is called OP when in actual fact it would be no different to the other bonuses
The initial proposed bonuses of ROF for all the races was removed because of 1 Amarrian Weapon not benefitting from it (The Semi Auto SCR) pretty much everyone else was actually quite happy with the bonus for the Assault suits .. honestly they should have given everyone else ROF and Amarrians Heat build up reduction and everyone would've been happy

Caldari Assault suit isn't OP and I'm not trying to stop my crutch being nerfed, I'm actually trying to make sure we don;t end up with a bonus which is going to be a nerf to an already UP suit
TBH I'd rather keep the current shield extender bonus and recharge bonus, everything I've seen so far is just a nerf to the Cal Assault Suit |

Besides, I've seen how people play. Seems to me like caldari tankers know how caldari stuff is supposed to work, while caldari infantry have no idea.
(Hint: charging at people in close range is the gallente thing, not the caldari thing)
You're generalizing .. seeing as my cal assault uses dampeners, regulators and stamina as well as shield extenders in the highs and I mainly use it to pick of targets then go back behind cover I think I'm using the suit in the Caldari way
This is why I know Reload bonus is useless .. I reload behind cover whilst my shield are recharging and seeing as it takes longer than 3.2 seconds to get back to full HP a faster reload is pointless as I'll still be waiting for my shields to come back .. |

Regulators and Rechargers need to be buffed then because the Cal Assault already gets a shield extender and recharge bonus .. the recharge isn;t dependent on fitting a recharger either .. honestly we should get a passive shield regulation and recharge bonus that AREN'T reliant on fitting regulators and rechargers |

5% Passive Shield Regulation and Recharge bonus
Not Module orientated an actual passive bonus that improves shield regen |

Already have .. 5% Passive Shield Regulation and Recharge bonus Not Module orientated an actual passive bonus that improves shield regen I can agree to this, tho Its seams like its easyer for ccp to make bonuses effect weapons or moduals rather than the suits themselves. At least on a "per lvl" basis, sure they can add a flat rate boost built in but not sure they can have a per lvl bost built in.
The Caldari Assault already has the recharge passive bonus per level so they;d just be keeping that on the suit and just adding the regulation bonus which at lvl 5 is just the same as adding 1 complex regulator to the suit passively |
