Especially now with the Mass Driver changes right.
I must say 1.8 is looking out to be the best patch ever, as long as there's no major bugs along with it.

I think we should at the very least get a WEAPONS +DROPSUIT RESPEC cuz now they're changing the RR and the MD, plus two new weapons r coming.
But ccp give us a final full respec. IT WILL BE THE LAST ONE.
+1 this if u promise that a full respec is the final respec u need

+1 this if u promise that a full respec is the final respec u need that wont work; b/c is u do a dropsuit respect; then u need to resepc everything; b/c if u move from a shield based suit to an armor (or visa versa) there is a loss of say 2-3M SP in shield/armor skilling you wont be using. It has to be a full respect if anything otherwise it is just a waste

There is clearly an internal discussion within CCP about the merits of any kind of sp respec, and personally I see the latest round of sp bonus weeks as the workaround to this issue: don't refund the sp, just shower is with massive amounts of bonus sp so that we can all play with the new toys come patch day. At most, well get a suit respec. But I don't think that's a given, either.
Yes but the sp event we just had would be too far away from 1.8 release. So in my opinion unless they have another one, the last sp event we had is just too far away from the 1.8 release date.
I already spent my sp because I am confident we will get a respec. The main point to me is if they don't give a respec lots of people have said they're gonna leave, plus they would be missing out on an opportunity to bring back old players.
