I can confirm they still like to proto stomp. I didn't need to even say that though , did I. You all knew.
For the record - I have no problem with their stomping on a personal level. Its the game and its CCP`s lack of many things.
I do however see a conflict of interest when they come to the forums and moan about lack of competition.
Like others have said, go to PC if that is your thing. Build a team and stomp all over Molden heath.
What do you think the other guys you see running around in militia and standard gear are trying to do? - Trying to build up a sufficient level of isk to try there hand at PC (Or just build their wallet up to a comfortable level).
On a separate note - If CCP created things like contracts with a nice payout that anyone could join in to fight over, or even corp battles with wagers, well that would invigorate competitive play.

PC is practically dead right now. 96% of PC Districts are locked, meaning only 4% are open to attack, majority of which are on PFC.
Zatara scammed me out of all my ISK. He is too mean. Please someone feel sorry for me and send me ISK.

I keep playing even when getting stomped until it's absolutely clear blueberries are not going to spawn on my uplinks.
I always have. I don't know I guess I don't particularly care about my KDR, it's a video game.
Stomping or not, lots of people out there play like cowards. Getting on towers and pipes 24/7 isn't going to help you get good, it's going to make you suck longer.

in reality it'll go like this:
noob gets kicked out of group.
Noob joins another match, obliviously wondering if he'll run into those "cool guys" who were carrying him.
He finds himself on the other side of the fight and gets the **** stomped out of him.
He joins another fight, hope still high.
this happens until he either finds other people he can stick with, or quits this broken, ****ty game.
If you hear the words "WORTH IT!" look about, something hilarious just happened.

personaly i rarely run more than miltia/standard gear. aside from the odd tank and commando suit. i just dont feel the need to. also im not as rich as rainbow.
i have left matchs against rainbow effect. only when im running solo. hard people to fight and im not going to get anywhere alone. when i do fight proto guys i give it my all which isnt much if i can kill one and shoot his prone body ill do it. knowing that one kill is worth more than my suit costs for the next 10 match's. i wont invest in a bad fight thats just silly =)
if king barbar is showing some new players the ropes. good. some new players is better than none. and if more people from the bigger corps do the same then we get more people to shoot at.
we are always going to have corps that will do anything to win every fps has them. either fight them or dont your call. |

And not a single one of you has a rail tank to counter those tanks? Or do you play ambush half the time?
