I have been away from the game for some time and can't say if what Kingbabar is typing on the forums is actually happening in the game. What I can say is that we cannont judge him because of protostomping, what we can judge him for is the fact that it took so long to get bored of it.

Well up until now there has been plenty of PC to play smartypants.

in Terms of training there is nothing you could offer a new player that someone who actually went through being protostomped could do better aside from maybe what the FoTM is or what glitches to use

So the only reason you now trying to do something about protostomping (even though your STILL going to protostomp) is because you don;t have as much access to PC ..

So you've had no problem ruining the NPE and other peoples fun in pubgames because you've been able to get you kicks in PC

If no one used proto in pub games the stomping would be less intense .. sure there would still be stomping but 6 guys in ADV/STD are alot easier to kill than 6 guys in proto stomping

I can teach players lots of stuff that scrubles like you can't. How to use nades properly, yeah please claim its easy as everybody does, still I very ofthen dodge 3 and get a OHK with the 1 I throw back. I can teach a lot about the use of cover and the importanse of rapid movement when its prudent. I can teach about squad synergy. I can teach about Skirmish tactics the list goes on and on. Do you really think I can't contribute after playing Dust on the highest level for a year?

True that 6 guys in ADV/STD gear are easier to kill but stomping would be relatively the same. It isn't just the gear that makes proto stomping what it is; it's the maxed out skills + the gear + coordination + **** poor matchmaking. So sure, 6 guys in ADV/STD are easier to kill than 6 protos; but 6 guys with proto & prof skills in ADV/STD gear and know what they are doing are a lot harder to kill than 16 guys that just got into ADV/STD and are running around like headless chickens.

So I need an injector and a repper and be a chubby chaser to be a logi? LOL thats just so 2013. I sometimes carry a needle, I mostly stick with uplinks, scanners and rep hives. (I'm shield tank so they don't do me much good) But you can ask the fattys in my corp if they are used to me dropping a rep hive for them. Using a rep tool is ok, I prefer to use my gun and drop rephives, this way I can slay and support at the same time. So me being and plaiying as a logi for a year is considered FOTM? Shouldn't that be FOTY?

Well I don't use damage mods except for the occational times I go assault sniping. Yes if you take the very best fits of the game and compare it to starter fits off course there is a difference. For me its natural to compare enhanced to proto, It took me what? 2 weeks to get a decent enhanced fit up and running.

"On the highest level", by that I mean I've played for and against almost all the corps in Dust. I've played alongside the very best players in this game without making a fool of myself, well mostly.

Please elaborate on why Dust uni can do a better job than me in teaching new players? Just because you state it doesn't make it so.

Facing of a stacked team isn't easy for anyone regardless of gear. First off, why would I play solo? If I were new to the game and had less fancy toys than the rest the first thing I would do is to find some decent people to squad up with. That people are stupid enough to run solo and then complain about losing is entirely their own fault.

I did do a 10 games in a row test (I do this from time to time) in a 35K suit alone in domination. Worst game was 13-5 best game was 40-4. I might just have been lucky. I did come up against some stacked teams, they were good enough to win and redline us but not good enough to completely stomp me personally.

I seriousl don't think I'd do very well as a new player coming in right from the academy. I do believe I would've had a positive KDR, there are just so many crappy players in this game regardless of skill and gear, in any case I'd keep fighting and pushing all I could, I've always been like that.

No one fighting his corp eg continually running into them to be insta killed in starter fits by them in full proto and attempting to improve his and his corps rep

Hate to break this to you but 6 months of protostomping new players can't be overlooked and you can only blame yourselves if people aren't wasting their time fighting you

If you want challenging fights in your proto gear .. go do PC ...

Newer players should stick with corps like the Learning Coalition or Dust Uni as they will actually be trained properly and I would actively suggest newer/inexperienced players avoid squadding with you at all costs .. why would you squad with the very people to blame for a poor NPE ???
