Man, it's just one of those days (or weeks it may become the way things are going). The matches I've been in have with this character.... they're not even protostomps most of the time. I've just been getting teamed up with the some of the laziest blueberries I've ever seen. I'm not asking for people to throw away 20 suits trying to hack an objective, but at least take a couple steps toward a null cannon before giving up!
I think match making is in full effect honestly. It doesn't put people together to have fair teams, but it does put you on a team with about equal skill points to yours, which is not... great. But, hey! At least Scotty's trying...something? Almost? Maybe? This is a new character, so perhaps that's the problem? Honestly, it looks to me like a bunch 8th graders beating up on 5th graders, and I'm just the ineffective gym teacher that looks up from his magazine to go " Hey, quit that roughhousin' now, and get back in the showers." I'm not even upset, I just kind of feel bad for both parties.
At least the games waits for the match to finish before it crashes on me now. So there is a bright side.
P.S. Loving the Breach Assault Rifle, It seems very underrated at the moment. Like a good middle ground between the RR's speed and power, and the AR's accuracy and kick. |

I'm all for givin up in ambush. Why bother, yr still going to get isk whether you participate or not. So find a nice quiet spot, and let everyone else do they dying.
I don't play ambush very often, but when I do, my only goal is to make the other team pay. It doesn't matter if I win or if I lose isk. If I make 'em suffer that's good enough for me. The more proto, the better... also I use it to practice my rusty gun game. But it's mostly the suffering part. |

Well said, The Infected One. I'm not going to quote you because quoting posts that long is super obnoxious, but what you said is pretty much at the heart of a lot of the problems. That said none of that stuff really gives me that much of a problem with the exception of tank gangs. I'm done with manus peak for that reason. If I spawn in there, I just leave. I've always hated that map since day one, and tank gangs have made it 10x worse.
Swear to god. I just had a domination match on Fracture Road, and at one point in the match, I single handedly took out a group of 6 different people, destroyed their equipment, and hacked the point, while the entirety of my team was at the farthest away CRU getting harassed by 2 chump tanks. I made a solo push as much as I could, and did pretty well all things considered. I only have 913,916 sp on this character so far... ****.
If anybody knows any decent sized corps that are willing to take in members without a working mic but with a working brain, who can follow orders, please let me know. I would kill to play with just a few, even mildly competent players today. I didn't mean for this to be so spiteful, but it's getting worse and worse each match! |

I'm not to upset about scanners. It's going to be nerfed hard in 1.8, and the people who used to rely on scanners night and day are going to be left without they're crutches. Then they'll realize how emaciated they're legs have become (the QQ when 1.8 hits is going to be astronomical btw). Obviously being scanned leads to a lot of my losses, but when blows come to blows, skill wins in the end, for me at least.
That said... heavy are starting to make my mind go numb. I don't know if it's just that 90% of players use them, or that it takes so long to kill them, that it feels like they're the only class I fight. But gods be good, they eat up ammo. Oddly enough, I come out on top about 50-60% of the time, but they've become are such unbelievable chore to fight. It's not even fun or intense....just slow. Okay, admittedly that was pretty QQish, but I needed to get that of my chest.
Whew~ I'm done for today. |

The dark cloud wrote: Nerfed hard? Wut? Man the only thing that changes is the cooldown time between scans and thats it. If you get picked up by 1 of the 10 scanners that the enemy team uses you are allmost allways screwed.
I heard that they're also making it so it's a snapshot scan, so whatever you scan when your press the button is what you see. They're doing it to stop the ballerinas from getting their 6th sense on, so to speak.
