Being paid off, is the only way anyone would ever consider placing Nyain San onto a piece of memorabilia.
Lockdown exploitation is something that is "Known by CCP" and they are "Looking to fix it", of which, the largest investor to said exploit is Nyain San.
By the enthusiasm spouted by Zion Shad, I have no doubts that he was paid something for making that horrendous announcement. No one in their right mind would willingly open themselves up to that much ridicule without some kind of compensation...
The integrity and validity of anything posted on Multiplexgaming has just taken a large hit because of this, hence the records there are now all being viewed with suspicion.

Everyone knows the name Pandemic Legion, CFC, Snuffbox and the Urine Alliance. All of them are bastards but they are still worth being remembered. Nyain San are this games Pirates.
Planetary Conquest isn't even in a completed state hence there is nothing to place an award FOR. The only explanation after that is that they placed some kind of incentive out to get this recognition.
Ever play one of those cheap homemade games out on the web, where the highest score is 9,999,999,999 and the 2nd place score is about 43,236? Someone found an exploit to an unfinished or unsecured section of the game and decided to capitalize on it. Do we make a hall of fame for the first person to exploit to the maximum recordable score ingame? No.
So, why should the first user of an exploit get a spot of recognition here?
It's not like they crafted a scheme to scam billions of isk out of other players, or trade phoney assets online.. those things would actually take skill and some internal integrity to perform.

It's either that, or Multiplexgaming is so desperate for attention that they'd throw their reputation down the drain.
Planetary Conquest isn't even a viable game mode right now, it's more like a child grabbing all the game pieces on a board just because they're within arms reach than something of merit, such as chess, where in order to claim the most field one must think.
I can't even think of any reason why such an award would be handed out in the first place other than to inflate the sense of achievement further down the road, when they potentially fix the game so that having more than 10 locations becomes a challenge, hence by retrospective views it would make this lazy attainment look like a monumental achievement... but that would be an excessively far-sighted attempt by a corp such as Nyain San... Hence something else had to have happened.

Why would someone lock down districts to earn fake money in an online game? The same logic applies.
