Every time I play through the game, I end up as an assassin for the Dark Brotherhood, usually as a Vampire Dark Elf, which leads me to join the Stormcloaks, [SPOILERS] because killing the Emperor of the empire I am sided with just doesn't really make sense.

Speaking of Skyrim, does anyone have an good characters I could play as, as I would like to get back into the game?

I prefer role-playing and don't like to use skills I am not going to skill into, with the exception of speech.

Anyway as for the reference I googled it, and I doubt anyone my age would ever get that reference......

But could I get maybe 3.5 points for effort?

Afraid I'd have to read up on those things, and know your role/backstory for you character. Assuming you dig as deep into roleplay as I do. :P

I am the conjuration archer that wanders the realm with a ridiculous bounty in Riften, shooting elks with his shimmering bow and dicing up wrongdoers (and sometimes the good guys too) with the summoned blades of my Daedric-clad red-eyed demons wielding giant two-handed swords.

I came upon the revelation when I was in History, actually. Not bigoted, they're entire social structure and philosophy is similar. Kick out outsiders, claim a superior race, fascists, united under one leader who serves to represent what they most believe about them (who is also very charismatic and respected within the nation), etc,. Do the research, it's rather fascinating actually.

Melee work was for suckers. A solid .44 slug was all it ever took.

Go unarmed or Melee during hardcore runs. Then you won't need any ammo at all!

I really wish throwing knives weren't the rarest weapon in the world.

I see we are talking about New Vegas now. I'll let you in on a secret... the best weapon in the game. Hands down.

Laser Rifle+ Focus Optics+Beam Splitter+Meltdown.
That's it. You could literally not even use any armor and easily beat the game on Very Hard+Hardcore easily. Its that goddamn powerful. It one shots almost everything, and is pinpoint accurate, with a decent RoF, and it uses super common ammo, allowing you to have a large supply of 1000+ MF Cells at all times. It's even easy to repair, even without Jury Rigging.

The weapon itself has a huge critical hit ratio, and the Beam Splitter multiplies the already large ratio by 3, up to like 90%. Also, Critical Hits = Instakill Plasma Explosion with the Meltdown Perk, which can cause a chain reaction of More Instakill Plasma Explosions. Let's just put it this way, I once killed 5 Deathclaws, including the Mother and Alpha Male... with a single Microfusion Cell. That's a 4 cap investment you won't ever regret.

The only enemies I ever had even a small challenge with was the Giant Bloatfly (most HP in the game by a wide margin) and Ullyses (the Second biggest baddass in the Mojave), and Ullyses was only a problem because I didn't get a Sneak Attack on him. He took 2 shots, the Bloatfly took 3. Even Legate Lanius was a OHK.
