message from Godin: Why does everyone think I'm bitching about it? Can I not state anything anymore?
Anyways, **** tanking a Scout. I'd rather hide than have tank. |

Because natural ehP is 390/525 shields/armor, and with maxed skills it goes up to 487/656, adding up to 1143, several hundred short of your number. But a PRO plate + maxed skills is 148/plate, so all four slots filled means +592 armor, making total eHP 1735, still short of 1810. Unless you actually think putting a shield extender on a Galheavy is a good idea. If you have a heavy machine gun, why not dual tank? Because of the shield regen? LOL

Unless you actually think putting a shield extender on a Galheavy is a good idea. He's about right. He's talking about EHP not total HP. Presumably he's assuming that the heavy is being shot with some kind of railgun and thus gets 15% resistance with the armour. Raw Armour = 525*1.25 + 4 * 148 = 1248 armour Raw Shields = 390*1.25 = 487 shields Take the 15% armour resistance against railguns into account: 1248*1.15 = 1435 armour Now take the damage profile of the railgun into account (90%/110%): 487 * 1.1 + 1435 * 0.9 = 1827 EHP
message from Godin: No, I was talking raw eHP, not resisted eHP. 4 complex plates and a complex shield. |

Then surely it should be HP rather than EHP? Hit points rather than effective hit points. Ah yes, "Without resists". I should learn to read. o7
HP counts only 1 tank, unmodified. eHP counts more than one tank, unmodified or modified. |
