It'll never happen. Eve players have asked for the same but didn't get it, because it's a way to avoid the consequences of your actions. If you steal from a corp and change your name, you'd be avoiding the consequences of being blacklisted by anyone friendly with that corp. Hell, you could rejoin that corp and do it again. |

How about you can see peoples name history so that they can't do all that corp scamming.
Also you can search their old name and see the new one,
Minmatar Assault.

that's what your employment history is for. people will contact your former corporations to see what kind of a person you are. |

I think "no new names" is a good policy in EVE. You have the people that rip off billions from their corporation or get outed as a spy and end up having to live with it. It is a good way in EVE to keep people living with their consequences, though it does kind of suck having to live with a stupid typo or quirky capitalization.
Of course, DUST is a bit different isn't it? You have a PSN idea that anyone can look up at any time, something EVE doesn't have. I doubt CCP would do it anyway but it is an interesting thought for DUST. |
