Radar,
I've seen you around quite a bit in game but haven't interacted with you. You've got a good rep, however, I echo a bit of the concern about lack specific items or areas that you would want to help CCP address as a CPM member.
Also...would you mind sharing a bit about you in the way of age, profession, time available for CPM duties, ect. Just to let folks get to know you a bit.
Here are a few specific questions for you (same as I pose to all candidates):
1) Other than the forums how do you intend to collect and communicate requests, needs, POV of the community? In particular, those outside your corp / alliance.
2) What level of interaction would you like to establish between the CPM and CSM?
3) What are the top 3 short term (next 2mo's) changes you would encourage CCP to make? I'm looking for concrete examples that are realistic to achieve.
4) What are the top 3 mid term (next 6mo's) changes you would encourage CCP to make?
5) In Spring of 2015, when CPM1's term is up, what would you want people to have said about your tenure as a CPM member?
6) Will you be creating a channel for folks to meet and sqd with you during the period before the election?
Thank you for your time.

Radar,
I posed the question below to Canari when he announced his candidacy and I put the same question to you. I have noticed the majority of the candidates are leaders in elite corps (I.e. the upper 10%) and some have deserved reputations as outstanding or even elite level solo players. This is not a bad thing...however, it begs the question of how you and some of the other candidates will represent the majority of players not in your level of corp or skill.
You are in a position of leadership in one of the top Corps / Alliances in the game. Much of the conversation in the forums relates to the disparity in ISK, PC, general opportunities between the small upper tier and everyone else. Can you please elaborate on how you intend to represent the rest of the community, i.e. the other 90%? How we will know you aren't soley shaping things for the elites?

Radar R4D-47 wrote: An interesting question to be sure. If I understand the entire CPM election it will be a panel or players representing the community. Currently in the CPM we have now we lack that player who has exception skills in FPS. Representing the other 90% o the community is usually based off what the Top 10% do.
Everyone complains about certain OP weapons because the Elite players use them and slaughter. Community complains about the isk disparity because the top 10% control PC. I'm not saying my views would be solely based upon the top 10%. However careful attention must be paid to how these players react as the community typically follow their actions.
My goals would be to reduce that disparity by giving the 10% something to do outside pub matches. Thus giving the 90% room to grow and eventually we will see the gap reduce. A pub match made for Elite level talent would go a long way to not only increase competition For upper talent but give the rest of the community a chance to enjoy the game.
Bringing me back to the 90% is as easy as reading general discussions, squading with new people, creating a channel like irc for players to voice their concerns to the CPM while in game. Creating a thread like my 0uter.Heaven thread. A thread to come vent after your hours of dusting.
Engaging the community in my opinion is simple. I would not solely represent the top tier talent in the game nor try to build the game for those players. I would be able to easily represent their concerns however and use the concerns in coordination with the views of the majority.
Radar,
Thanks for the response and your candor. The underlined portions of your response are frankly what have me concerned. I'm not so sure that the community takes their lead from the elites so much as has to work around whatever you want to do.
Consider this...when informing CCP of potential options for weapon and equipment tweaks could you honestly say you can take into account the average player? Their skill level is likely to be drastically lower than yours; mechanics you and other members of 0uter Heaven can easily manipulate and overcome might be beyond most of them. Not poking...just asking.
I do really like your stance on providing different opportunities to new and veteran players that give them options and flexibility..that's definetly a bonus.
Again, not trolling at all. I'm just asking pointed questions to the person that might be representing me as they voice community feedback and ideas to CCP.

Thanks for responding and making your position on this clear; it's a touchy topic and you handled it well. Good luck in the election.
