Uh huh, I was under the impression that they were going to increase the stacking penalties as part of the effort to fix TTK rather than a direct Nerf to to the Dmg mods.
But I would also consider the fact that until a few months ago Armour tanking wasn't viable and now it's FOTM things change quickly in Dust and you might find after the next update that Armour is outclassed by Shields, I'll take fitting flexibility over fitting speciality any day. I'm looking forward to Cal and Min Sentinels personally, lot's of potential there.

High slots = damage and I happen to like damage Also, is it possible for you to provide a link to the Dev posts saying damage mods are being nerfed/tweaked and that TTK is getting fixed?

Doesn't sound like a CCP Nerf of old, and even if they cut the percentages in half it would still be worth it on high DPS weapons IMO. Right off to work I'll check in on this thread later o7.

Minmatar Sentinal is worse Less HP ant the 0.4m/s (over the amarr sentinel) isnt enough to get anywhere near a speed tank, especially with a heavies hit box. For 0.2m/s the Gal gets more HP, an armour rep, and a slot layout that can allow it to go faster than the mini without much effort.
And aparently dmg mods dont matter in this thread....
The answer is "ForgeGun"... doesnt matter what the question is...

Amarr Heavy has the best EHP against projectiles, if I remember correctly. The only heavy AI weapon is a projectile weapon.
Ergo, Amarr Heavy is best in heavy v. heavy.
Happily printing ISK with permahardeners and MLT blasters.
Just let me get a couple mil more before nerf, CCP!

More versatility for the (sinful) dual tanking that CCP is pushing with Amarr.
Happily printing ISK with permahardeners and MLT blasters.
