I hate using Blaster Turrets.
Missile Launchers however.... They hold a special spot in my heart

Want to know how to make a strike-through?

Also, implying rails aren't more easy mode than blasters.
I believe that Railgun Turrets are just like Rail Rifles.
A long range automatic sniper rifle with spool up time, but can also be used as a Shotgun if needed.
